Iowa has NEVER been anything CLOSE to “conservative”. Too much time in the “sack” w/ the BIG “Agri-Business” “Interests”. ALL Iowa Politicians(Local, State and Federal) are and have been bought and paid for by BIG Corporations(Ethanol etc).

You needn't worry so much. I guarantee you that content wins the day. There are at least 100 times as many people reading, as there are posting, and most of that 100 sides with substance, not volume.

What you see as 2:1 here, in number of posters, is more like 90:1 among the readers.

Iowa’s “Socialism” pre-dated FDR by quite awhile.

I’m just sharing my experience, that comes from private feedback over the years. Most people lack the courage to take on internet bullies, but they recognize bullies when they see them.

Son, what exactly are your feelings about outlaw motorcycle gangs ....

Eh, Iowa was never that big on FDR (one of few states to vote against him in ‘40 and ‘44), and Iowa politicians were among the New Deal’s harshest critics.

Waco is a quiet throwing down of the gauntlet.

Automatic gunfire by prepositioned military forces into civilian crowds is neither quiet nor a mere gauntlet.

Any more than mass arrests of witnesses on capital charges with punitive bail by design, is public relations.

Not jumping on you. But let's be direct and blunt.

I grew up in rural Iowa and remember(with clarity) many farmers talking about how FDR saved them. They voted Dem for decades. As far as FDR losing the State I think it was the city influence. I looked to see if county by county results were posted on the net for those elections. Didn't find them in a quick Google search.

Guys like Ethan Clive Osgood, for example -- unless he pays very big bucks to the FReepathon, he is a liability to FR and to American freedom.

This biker killed at least 43 people during his tour of duty with the Hells Angels.

It’s true that a certain percent of Iowa farmers, usually Catholics, became Democrats who still trend Democrat in rural counties today. But Iowa was not especially friendly to the New Deal or socialism, especially compared to surrounding states.

Henry Wallace, Iowa’s most famous leftist and fabulously wealthy, never managed to get elected to anything in Iowa.

Since it is a GRAND jury and not a TRIAL jury, there is no voir dire.

Content wins the day in propaganda.

I saw the Chinese Communist Internet propagandists use that tact first on Internet forums.

It’s why to this day people still think George Zimmerman murdered Trayvon Martin in cold blood or the Ferguson Gentle Giant was gunned down by racist rogue cops.

These threads are the equivalent of the Trayvon and Ferguson leftist communist antiAmerican satanic propaganda.

And it’s very sad that the antiChrist spirit propagandists have infiltrated here and spread their fear mongering and lies.

No different than Al Sharpton, New Black Panthers, or Obama in spreading darkness, not light.

Well yeah, but that artifact is independent of discussions on FR.

There were a handful, about three IIRC, who maintained Zimmerman guilt all the way through the trial, and MANY who thought arresting Zimmerman was justified, because "the system needs a trial to prove innocence" or some similar rot.

Very Few of the 177 arrested and charged are still in jail. It took an unbelievable time to get there, but if almost all are out on bail looks bad for the conspiracy angle.

This has been a total screw up from the beginning. Indicating absolute presence of Fed direction of the police. Feds are now slithering away into dark corner.

Headshake

The thing both the bike gangs and their FR sympathizers failed to understand it that Texans take very seriously the “Don’t Mess With Texas” thing.

Then why is the state over-run with illegal aliens? BTW, that was the state's litter campaign slogan.

Motorcycle “Clubs”, no issue what so ever. I have many friends that are good law abiding riders and I have ridden probably more than 90% of FR posters that are on these threads.

That being said the only folks that claim gangs like Bandidos and Cossacks are ‘clubs’ are either fools or are trying to hide the truth about those criminal gang’s activities and what took place at Twin Peaks.
