Larry Klayman, former federal prosecutor for the Justice Department and the founder of Judicial Watch and now Freedom Watch, announced the filing of a lawsuit against the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and certain of its attorneys for violating their fiduciary duty and attorney client relationship, as well as defaming NSA/CIA whistleblower Dennis Montgomery. The complaint was filed in federal court in Miami, Florida (Case No. 15-cv-22452).
Montgomery sought legal assistance from the ACLU with regard to his whistleblowing of the unconstitutional and illegal acts by the NSA and CIA, much like the disclosures of Edward Snowden. Montgomery possesses information potentially more egregious than Snowden revealed. Unlike Snowden, Montgomery sought to come forward legally.
The ACLU failed to carry through and instead in an unrelated federal lawsuit in Arizona (Case No. CV-07-2513-GMS) against Sheriff Joe Arpaio, attacked and defamed Montgomery who had been hired by Arpaio to ferret out illegal surveillance of Arizona citizens to further the interests of other clients seeking to punish the sheriff for his law enforcement against illegal aliens in Maricopa Country. The ACLU went so far as to falsely publicly accuse Montgomery in court and in the media of being found to be a con man and committing crimes, in conjunction with Sheriff Arpaio and his deputies. Thus, the complaint alleges that in their zeal to destroy Arpaio, the ACLU intentionally harmed its client Montgomery.
This professional misconduct and illegality cannot be permitted by members of the bar, and it is despicable, stated Klayman. The ACLU will be held to account under the rule of law for the huge damage it has caused Mr. Montgomery. This self-styled protector of the civil liberties, is itself a fraud, as it puts its own liberal agenda ahead of its professional responsibilities, added Klayman.

Yay!
Go get’em, Klayman. Bankrupt the commie scum.

Partisanship trumps civil liberties for the aclu
Thanks Moseley.
The actions surrounding the goings on of Dennis Montgomery have been a backstory to the Arpaio vs DOJ smackdown in the Federal Courts. First of all, this case should have ZERO relevance to the issue of alleged racial profiling of hispanic residents of Maricopa County. Second, we wonder if this case may involve some of the “Universe-Shattering” aspects of the CCP Investigation.
Apparently, Montgomery was once seen as a promising whistleblower into federal corruption. Now, one of his attorneys, the ACLU, has turned face on him.
Are we seeing glimpses of things to come, or is this just a sideshow?
I like Klayman.
Ping to Arpaio ping list for full text of Klayman lawsuit against ACLU, which is worth a read and has some juicy allegations regarding DOJ and ACLU coordinated efforts beginning in April to suppress Montgomery and Arpaio.

Daniel Pochoda, acting in concert with the other Defendants, while speaking for the ACLU specifically in relation to Melendres v. Arpaio, supra, and specifically in attacking Sheriff Arpaio, defamed Dennis Montgomery in a New York Times article June 15, 2015, written by Ms. Fernanda Santos, Phoenix, Arizona, Bureau Chief, titled
Twists Outnumber Judges (So Far) in Case Against Arizona Sheriff.
This guy [Sheriff Arpaio] hired a person [Dennis Montgomery] previously found to be a con man, said Dan Pochoda, senior counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona, which represents the plaintiffs in the case against Sheriff Arpaio.
From the article:
“...The ACLU ... attacked and defamed Montgomery .... to further the interests of other clients seeking to punish the sheriff for his law enforcement against illegal aliens in Maricopa Country. ...”
“To further the interests of other clients”.
Were 0 and his minions using the ACLU like they did the IRS, to silence dissent —and— release of information about him/them?
Using lawsuits as well as audits?
It is not yet known what Montgomery has on the NSA/CIA, but (IIRC in the filing) Klayman characterized it as MORE DAMAGING than what Snowden revealed and Klayman should know as he has personally won a case taken all the way to SCOTUS against NSA forcing them to admit they lied!
