BALTIMORE The Baltimore City Police Department has launched an internal investigation after a WBAL-TV 11 News viewer shared four photographs of a sign inside a city police wagon.
The photos show the doors of the parked police van left open. On the inside of the back door is a sign, attached or possibly stenciled on, that reads: "Enjoy your ride, cuz we sure will!"
The pictures were taken Tuesday near the Central District Police Station on Baltimore Street.

According to the story at the link, “The sign’s placement makes it clear that this is a message for people who are arrested to see after they’re put in the back of the van and the doors are shut.”
BS - that sticker won’t be visible once the doors are closed. The interior cage assembly blocks that portion of the door.
As if the sticker was put on the door by the anonymous person who took the photo.
Please remove all the confederate flags from inside the back of these Paddy Wagons.
“Cops are supposed to act like professionals, and most do. Putting that childish sign in the police wagon makes cops look bad, and gives the cop haters more ammunition. Whoever did it is stupid, and wrong.”
Exactly! It’s long past time for the “unionization” of the cops to come to an end. We don’t have to tolerate union thugs to whom we entrust the ability to utilize deadly force. I’m not sure that all six of the charged Baltimore cops are guilty of killing Gray, but it’s also true that they are going to cover for one another if any of them really had a hand in Gray’s death.
When it is too late..
“2) Often we know someone is guilty”
Funny, I thought we lived in a country where the presumption of innocence trumps what a cop “knows.” Cops can’t be judges., This guy may think he’s “protecting” the citizens of Long Beach, but he’s breaking the law! Your friend’s son should probably find another line of work.
PS I have a good friend who was LAPD in San Pedro (for ten years). He quit because of these kinds of illegal tactics, and was unwilling to abuse people because what the cops “thought.”
By your logic, OJ did not commit murder then.
"Enjoy your ride, cuz we sure will!"That's so wrong. The sign should read, "Enjoy your ride, your ride buddies will **** you in the ass once you get to jail."
“By your logic, OJ did not commit murder then.”
Oh please! OJ was tried and found innocent by a jury. Now that may have been an incorrect finding, but it wasn’t as a result of what the cops “thought!”
I understand the emotion behind posts 1-13, but I’m sad it took until 14-16 to bring the voice of reason that I expect on FR. Leaning Right said it well in #15.
I have to wonder if xrmusn is right, though. I’d really like to know. If so, that means the cops are both cruel AND stupid. Not a good combination.
I’m Irish and offended by the term PADDY WAGON ;-)
