This is disturbing. Hodge was the named defendant (representing the state of Ohio NOT having gay marriages) in the gay marriage case. So he was supposedly defending traditional man-woman marriage.

So it turns out that "our" traditional marriage guy, defending traditional marriage, was and is pro-gay-marriage?

Do you think he threw the case?

Doubtful since his lawyer was AG Mike Dewine who pursued the case all the way through.

Yep I do think he threw the case as I do with our side which went to SCOTUS.

Of course he threw the case. This has become very common.

Usually a leftist group sues the EPA or something and are allowed to win $$$ from the taxpayers.

This is one way the left gets their funding.

how did hogdes become a defendant in the first place? although, ohio was able to convince an appeals court to keep the ban. that prompted the supreme court to take the case. if the appeals court ruled against ohio, then the supreme court would have not taken the case.
