Start? Reparations have been going on for decades; this is just the latest scheme. Welfare, rent subsidies, free college, government jobs...the wealth transfer has gone on for half a century already. The bill just keeps going up, as does the dependence on the fruits of others’ labors; Malcolm X’s message of economic independence died with him.

Why are these families getting 3+ million dollars apiece from us taxpayers?

And on a related tax-dollar bonfire note, why hasn't "Felony" Clinton been punished for spending our tax dollars on printing off 55,000 emails in hard copy?

Government workers were paid, and government material was used.

She needs to spend a few weekends in the county lockup for flipping off us taxpeasaants that way.

I don't see anything on this thread about outrage about the unfairness of treating one group of victims differently from others from "our" elected Republican pols.

Is Obama doing this because he can keep on pushing and no one is going to stand up to him? They just aren't up to their jobs.

Don't blame Obama. He is what he is. Blame the people who enable him with either silence or concession.

If this is true, I suggest each and every one of us write our Congressmen and express outrage. Further, the Republican Party should be put on notice that this is unacceptable at a time when they control the public purse.

“Why are these families getting 3+ million dollars apiece from us taxpayers?”

This action may be the set up for a major push for reparations in 2016. It sets a precedent for the President giving significant cash compensation to survivors of victims of a crime.

Fox Business News analyst Charles Payne, an African American, recently said on his television program Obama will apologize for slavery in 2016 and push for cash reparations. Here is a link: http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/charles-payne-obama-reparations-slavery

Consider the drumbeat we’ve been hearing the last few years about white privilege. Then the “racist” behavior of police became a subject of debate. Out of nowhere a brutal murder by a lone gunman resulted in calls to ban the Confederate flag and the defacing of Confederate war memorials. Why?

Obama has now set a precedent of arbitrarily presenting crime victims he selects with $3+ million each from the US Treasury. Imagine in 2016 he apologizes for slavery and declares it a “crime against humanity”. He then announces he is going to award every African American living in the US $3 million each as surviving victims of the crime of slavery. Who will stop him? The Republican Congress, the courts, the military?

The cost of awarding each of the 40 million African Americans residing in the USA $3 million each is over $120 trillion dollars. The annual GDP of the United States is $17 million and the federal budget is $3.9 trillion. Per the Federal Reserve, the total assets of the entire United States are $188 trillion.

Promising every African American $3 million as reparations from slavery would be the ultimate Cloward Piven act. If Congress refused to give Obama the money there would be anarchy in the streets and he would have the “justification” to declare martial law and suspend the Constitution. If Congress agreed to the plan, funding it would be problematic. The only funding options would be to seize and totally redistribute the assets of the country or engage in massive money printing that would result in Zimbabwe style inflation and the collapse of the currency.

Obama likely has millions of dollars squirreled away in foreign banks. By this one action he can completely destroy the country, then fly off into the sunset and watch it burn from afar.

Stay tuned.

A few reparations here a few reparation over there, won’t be long before its law of the land - affacons are royalty.

Drip, drip, drip. The left should be very careful of what they wish for.

I just sent this to my senior US Senator. I will let you know what the office responds with:

A very nice gesture, Reuters is reporting that the Obama administration is sending $29 million to South Carolina to help provide “services” to the families of the nine victims of the horrific shooting there. Nonetheless, as disbursed under the Crime Victim Assistance Formula Grant program, it IS public money.

There surely must be an accounting of how these funds were spent, as in date spent, amount spent and description of the “service” provided.

Could you send me a copy of the accounting? Your prompt attention, as always, is appreciated.
