Our constitution took a couple big hits this week, but there is no way we should surrender or give up the fight. America is and always has been a Judeo-Christian nation. We believe our unalienable rights are bestowed upon us by our Creator and cannot be lawfully removed by a godless socialist/fascist government gone awry.
We will fight on. As long as God gives me breath, I will fight to defend our Constitution.
As the man said, give me liberty or give me death!
Houses of God are where renewal has to begin. Sometimes the Lord lets clay feet crumble to remind us that we were looking at the wrong thing.
The gospel gun is the one that will drill holes in Satan. None other will.

Dare we forget the promise contained in the following words from the Holy Bible which we believe to be God's Word for all time:
2 Chronicles 7:14 - King James Version (KJV)Is not this Scripture's challenge now before those individuals who remain faithful to the ideas of liberty, as laid out by America's Founders and Framers of its Constitution? If so, then that challenge requires individual action in the individual, in the homes, in the communities, and states of this great nation, whose people's Constitution has not been amended to yield up liberty to a generation of usurpers.

The challenge will not be met by utilizing or expecting to corral the coercive powers of the government for our lofty purpose of restoration, for those powers, of necessity, would be implemented by those already indoctrinated into another view. That horse already has left the barn, and that is not how the brave men and women of 1776 and 1787 changed the world anyway.
We need a leader equipped with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of eternal things, not of the contemporary ideologies which have led us astray. Such a leader would have a grasp and love of the seedbed of ideas which preceded the Declaration of Independence. That individual would possess a view of the history of nations, and the path by which that unique band of individuals of 1776 and 1787 were empowered to set forth in plain language how individual liberty might be preserved
They did it individually, and as groups of faith, by trusting "Divine Providence," recognizing the "Supreme Judge of the World" and "Creator" and the "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God," and by themselves spreading those ideas freely in their homes, churches and communities, until their influence enlightened the world.
Despair was not among their options for moving forward.
We are correct in being deeply concerned about the prevailing counterfeit ideas of those who self-identify as "progressives." Today's liberty lovers, however, cannot subscribe to the negative views of these observers. To do so would betray a Reality greater than those so-called "progressives" who parade themselves as political "saviors," who, in their enormous arrogance, vainly attempt to deny freedom for expression and exercise of the rights of conscience protected by the same Constitution which limits their own power.
By their aggressive demands to limit free expression and exercise of ideas in the so-called "public square," they expose and reveal the dark under side of their ideology and its totalitarian intent.
America's Founders conceded no acknowledgement of a "divine right of kings or self-designated 'rulers' to usurp power over their rights. Why would American citizens validate the "executive orders" of a mere elected official and his ideological sycophants as superseding their rights under the U. S. Constitution?
Let us become a people as courageous and trusting of Divine Providence as they!

With all of their domination of academia and Far Left politics, these so-called "progressives" seem to fit into a category described by T.S. Eliot on "Virgil":

Without intellectual anchoring in the enduring ideas which provided the philosophical foundation of America's Declaration of Independence and Constitution, their vain imaginations of superiority only expose their limited world view. Yet, the America which rose from obscurity to greatness, from crude hoes and axes to putting a man on the moon, and from oppression by King George to a symbol of liberty for millions all over the world--that America provides shelter for today's "progressives," even as they attempt to "change" her into something unimagined by the Founders.
The Word says “The Gates of Hell won’t prevail against us” Seems to me its the likes of the Supreme Court that go to hell while we FREEPERS go forward with the Banner of the Lord!

Voices - lots of voices are the answer. If the walls of Jericho can fall simply because of the sound, we, too, and make some noise. SPEAK UP!
We have a 1st ammemndenment right to voice our opinions loud and clear. EVERYONE has a right to an opinion.
"Change the language." You'll catch more bees with honey than you will with vinegar -- Praise the heterosexual couples you see -"Look how wonderfully happy they are. What a wonderful family unit. Mom, dad, babies. Wow. Isn't that great? ". Praise real marriage when you see it. Thumbs up a faith based school or homeschool family. ALWAYS praise those things that are good. Let all the people around you hear you.
(Turn away from those that are left wing. Don't even waste your time on them. Walk away from those who support the left wings vileness. Recognizing them reinforces their insanity).

Thanks Jim. You might not believe it, and my detractors certainly won’t, but your periodic statement of purpose helps me personally. Every now and then I get to the point where I have to read it just to confirm that I’m not wasting my time being here.
Caving is not an option. I disagree with many, perhaps most FReepers on tactics and strategy, but I’ve never disagreed with the underlying philosophy.

I don’t understand how we as a nation could have fallen so far and so fast...it is breathtaking - in a bad way!
Is this some overreaching conspiracy by the former Soviet Union to even the score?
I shall not limit my response to the Twitter character limit.
This has been a very disappointing and discouraging week. No matter, when Winston Churchill faced the might of the Nazi fascism regime and when the whole of the world expected Britain to capitulate, his voice rang out loudly and clearly that the British people would not submit and would not allow themselves to be subjugated. And so it what came to be, with essential help from the arsenal of democracy, America.
Today, we live in an America that is ruled, at least at the Executive Branch level, by the ideology successors of both the Nazis and the Communists. We can hear out it the prairies, the howls of their triumph from each of the points of the compass. The wolves have us surrounded. They have wandered into a patch of Peyote and have launched an irrational attack on our beliefs, our virtue, our honesty, and our integrity. The wolf packs gathering at our threshold are an unholy alliance of idealogs, opportunists, and debauchees.
Pay no mind to their howling, encourage them to give voice to their cry and assault publicly all that we hold dear. Let them launch their assault and become drunk in their soon victory. Those who are revolted by the events of this week will hold their fire and keep their voice silent until the lunatics have danced into the frenzy of their fantasies. Then, we can fight back and we will find that they are weak, that they are a tiny voice of the marginal fringe who cannot stand up against us.
What we see this week are the death throes of the irrational world and we need not worry about the outcome.
The communist said, because they couldn't defeat us militarily, that they would destroy us from within.
They're doing it, but the American people are too busy texting to notice what's going on around them. Even after the communists warned us loud and clear that homosexualizing the U.S. was going to be one of their fabric destroying tactics!
