He seemed so stable, its a wonder how he wasnt working for Media Matters. Curiously, like South Carolina killer Dylann Roof, he aspired to start a civil war.
The suspect wanted in a string of recent attacks on Asian women in Manhattan has been found dead of an apparent suicide inside a basement on the Upper East Side, law enforcement sources said.
The suspect, 25-year-old Tyrell Shaw, apparently hanged himself and was found in an elevator shaft on the 700 block of Madison Avenue, according to the sources. The body was positively identified as Shaws.
What a shame.
The writer of the blog said he would begin attacking women after following two women in SoHo and being rejected by other Asian women. He said he was growing frustrated after talking to nearly 1,500 Asian women in less than a year.
By starting an independent civil war where I will hit over a million Asian Women in the face with a stick will change history, the blogger wrote
Heres my plan: Every Asian Woman by herself must be hit in the face. I may even take a photo before hitting them. The reason is because I dont think Asian Women like me and that specific one or two or three may have never met me. So I think its brilliant to give all Asian Women a legitimate reason to hate me, the person continuted.
In a post dated June 17, the blogger wrote: I just couldnt understand why Asian Women didnt find me attractive. Suddenly, I assumed the ones that I am attracted to use cocaine so I decided to play a game. Bash Asian Women in the Nose so that they could stop sniffing cocaine and give me a chance. At first I thought I could get away with 1 Million Noses, but at 6th victim I felt a little discouraged. I didnt even expect to bash The Dry cleaning lady in the mouth. She went overboard with the verbal abuse. That was actually my day off from playing the Nose Game. Yeah, thats what Ill call it The Nose Game. She asked for it.
Apparently the Democrat Confederate Battle Flag flying in South Carolina drove him over the edge. Oh, wait, not really.
The man wanted for attacking four Asian women in Manhattan may be a suicidal artist and blogger whos confessed to the crimes claiming that hes playing a game called Bash Asian Women in the Nose, police sources said Thursday.
I had to do it, Tyrelle Shaw, 25, wrote on his blog Mr. Talented.
The site is full of pictures of the lanky artist with celebrities like Russell Crowe, Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan, Fast and Furious actor Paul Walker, who was killed in a crash in 2013, and television judge Judy Sheindlin.
History needed my reaction towards Asian Women, he wrote.
Investigators want to question Shaw for four attacks that began on June 10, a high-ranking police source said.
In each case, a man tries to talk to an Asian woman, storms off then comes back and hits her in the head with a hard object wrapped in a plastic bag.
None of his victims was seriously injured.
Cops were given Shaws name on Tuesday, police sources said.
We had been given his name by people who knew him and thought he was the one responsible for the attacks, the source said. In his blog, he pretty much confesses what he did.
Shaw remained at large Thursday morning.
In his blog, Shaw claimed he targeted Asian women for violence because they ignored his romantic overtures.
In less than 350 days, I talked to nearly 1,500 Asian Women and none of them took time out of their day to say hello, he wrote in a post dated Wednesday. I became furious. I never agreed with violence, but I knew the only way I could overcome that sense of rejection-would start by assaulting the women that carelessly rejected me.
quick media look in the past if he had a flag like a black power flag or something and then we can ban that too.
Oh wait , silly me we are on about the American media. OK carry on as this will never ben mentioned for days in the international and national media.
Clear case of mental illness. They are correct, it’s a wonder he wasn’t working for media matters
I'm thinking there's at least one microagression here.
I’m not seeing the talented part.
Sounds a bit like the Isla Vista killer - women did not want anything to do with him.
This looks like it could have been another Elliot Rodgers in the making, only this time with a man of very low I.Q.. A near total absence of social reasoning and personal coping skills.
Two individuals, one black, one white, hoped that by killing and attacking people, wished to ignite a civil war in the same week. That’s pretty weird.
Seems like a twist on a British rite called “Paki Bashing”.
I think there was a third, as well.
This young man should have been deep into psychotherapy, and under supervision until the right medications or therapies were designed for him. Unfortunately, like many borderline manic/dep., (if that was his problem), he may not have seen himself as sick at all. He was able to compartmentalize his behavior enough to develop the beginings of a professional life. This too had begun to erode. Did no one in his family or friendship group see the unsustainble craziness?
Bkmrk.
Um, they might have been nodding their heads in agreement when he was going off on his rants.
Asian women are wascist, apparantly.
The family unit has been eroded.
Good riddance. We have a surplus of crazy people in this country.
He look’s like someone’s son...Whatshisname?
“Street” blacks are drawn to Asian women like flies to honey. They can’t help it ,it seems. My wife is Asian, and they’d strike up a conversation (or try to) with her every chance they could. It never even bothered them that I was sitting right there in the truck next to her. I usually had to get very strong and nasty to get them to go away. Anything less, and they’d stay and bother her. She hated them. Most Asians dislike them.(The urban blacks prey on them, and they don’t forget it). That part never seemed to sink in. They all seemed to think they were Casanovas...and I am sure some liberal troll will think this is racist. Nope-just how life really is....
Actually, I’m not sure he is all that abnormal for inner-city black yutes these days
