Calling it a "contemporary symbol of divisiveness and racism," eBay said Tuesday that it will ban the sale of Confederate flags and similarly themed merchandise.
"This decision is consistent with our long-standing policy that prohibits items that promote or glorify hatred, violence and racial intolerance," said eBay spokeswoman Johnna Hoff.
The e-commerce company is the latest to prohibit the sale of Confederate merchandise following Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Sears Holdings Corp.

A week ago, that would have cost 7-10 bucks, including shipping, at the most.

I hope the sellers make a fortune.
The two I just bought for $7 were being sold by another seller for $20.
My seller was “away until the 26th” and missed his chance to jack up the price.
I intend to get me a handful of $10 flags at my usual hole-in-the-wall VA supplier tomorrow.
I think this is not going to go the way they planned it.

To anyone worrying about the inevitable banning on ebay and Amazon, go to the current auctions/items and SAVE the seller names.
You can always contact them after the ban and get whatever you want.

Don’t give the Left any ideas. They would love to remove the American flag ASAP as well and replace it with a rainbow flag or something worse.
There were more slaves brought to this Country under the Union Jack, and the Stars and Stripes than there EVER was under the Stars and Bars.
I don’t see anyone “demanding” we get rid of either of those flags.
I have seen multiple sellers having sold 500-800 flags in the period of a hour or so. Easily thousands, if not, tens of thousands of flags have been sold as a result of maybe a few dozen people that make them selves look like thousands
Do you think all these companies, websites and stuff are banning it without any coordination, I don;t think so
