Calling it a "contemporary symbol of divisiveness and racism," eBay said Tuesday that it will ban the sale of Confederate flags and similarly themed merchandise.
"This decision is consistent with our long-standing policy that prohibits items that promote or glorify hatred, violence and racial intolerance," said eBay spokeswoman Johnna Hoff.
The e-commerce company is the latest to prohibit the sale of Confederate merchandise following Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Sears Holdings Corp.

Yeah, but I’m cancelling my eBay store tomorrow. I sold over 1800 lots on their website and have a 100% rating but screw them.

The first recorded use of the lone star flag dates to 1810.
On September 11, 1810 a troop of West Florida dragoons set out for the Spanish provincial capitol at Baton Rouge under this flag.
After a short battle they captured Baton Rouge, imprisoned the Spanish Governor and on September 23, 1810 raised their Bonnie Blue flag over the Fort of Baton Rouge.
Three days later the president of the West Florida Convention, signed a Declaration of Independence and the flag became the emblem of a new republic.
By December 10, the flag of the United States replaced the Bonnie Blue after President Madison issued a proclamation declaring West Florida under the jurisdiction of the Governor of the Louisiana Territory.
The West Florida Republic existed for 74 days.
With this rebellion in mind, this flag was used by the Republic of Texas from 1836 to 1839.

As of 20:50 EDT, there were over 2,600 results for "Confederate Battle Flag" on Amazon. (Now this includes books, but there are plenty of flags)
Nice; I like them (but not the ones with an eye-patch or crossed swords instead of bones).
I just verified that. Haven't tried to put any of them in my cart yet, but they're there.
