The article was at the request to produce how Sessions was involved in the immigration language that Cruz wrote for the TPA Bill.

See reply 80

Mr. HATCH (for Mr. Cruz (for himself, Mr. Grassley, Mr. Sullivan, Mr. Cotton, Mr. Isakson, Mr. Boozman, and Mr. Inhofe))

That is the sponsor and the cosponsors. Do you see Sessions' name in there?

They are desperate because the whole financial issue is about to go bust. They want spherical unity to help blunt our historic crash IMO.

Well said! I agree. They want the real economic shrinkage to go as smoothly and quietly as possible.

I didn’t say he sponsored the bill, I said that Cruz mentioned in a speech that he had consulted with Sessions on this, and it sounds like he did, from the article, as well. This is kind of like trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.

I said that Cruz mentioned in a speech that he had consulted with Sessions on this, and it sounds like he did, from the article, as well.

Where in the hell do you read that in this...?

The Obama administration has said the deal is not going to change U.S. immigration law, “so we’d like to put it in writing that they can’t,” Sessions said. His amendment would prohibit the fast-track procedures from applying to any pacts containing immigration provisions.
Another amendment from Sen. Ted Cruz would insert language in the fast track bill that would prohibit trade agreements that alter any immigration law, regulation or policy.

Is that what you're using to come to your conclusion?
If so, I don't see it. It's two separate amendments and it doesn't say they consulted each other that I can see.
If not, what in the article persuades you? Please post the relevant paragraph/s.

This is kind of like seeing if you even know what the hell is going on and so far it seems like you don't.

I’ve said all along that Cruz said he consulted with Sessions. Cruz is not known for being a liar. Why do you think he would say he and Sessions had discussed this if it weren’t true?

Thank you for showing information to us from real online congressional records and associated Internet research aids. We have a terrible lack of that good practice in political discussions.

You haven't shown that Sessions consulted with Cruz or vice-versa.

Oh, look at this. Both of them mentioned in a title!

Ted Cruz, Jeff Sessions Fail To Force Vote On Blocking Executive Action On Immigration

It doesn't say they consulted each other though.

I’m sure a lot of folks here have heard the speech where Cruz said this. I hope you aren’t suggesting that Cruz is a liar.

I’ve never referred to this article, which has nothing to do with the subject at hand, TPA.

What a shame you can't produce it. It would nake your argument valid.

I hope you aren’t suggesting that Cruz is a liar.

Where have I even implied such a thing? I've merely asked you to verify what you're asserting.

I am busy listening to new speeches Cruz makes and researching as well as posting on other Conservative blogs. I know it to be a fact and really don’t give a diddly whether you do or not.
