I said that Cruz mentioned in a speech that he had consulted with Sessions on this, and it sounds like he did, from the article, as well.

Where in the hell do you read that in this...?

The Obama administration has said the deal is not going to change U.S. immigration law, “so we’d like to put it in writing that they can’t,” Sessions said. His amendment would prohibit the fast-track procedures from applying to any pacts containing immigration provisions.
Another amendment from Sen. Ted Cruz would insert language in the fast track bill that would prohibit trade agreements that alter any immigration law, regulation or policy.

Is that what you're using to come to your conclusion?
If so, I don't see it. It's two separate amendments and it doesn't say they consulted each other that I can see.
If not, what in the article persuades you? Please post the relevant paragraph/s.

I’ve said all along that Cruz said he consulted with Sessions. Cruz is not known for being a liar. Why do you think he would say he and Sessions had discussed this if it weren’t true?
