Well we’ve had about 10 inches of rain in the last week, so I’m not seeing it.

Of course, I chose not to live in a desert and then complain about the lack of water. Dumb, I know.

Well, I figured NASA ought to know. What with all those satellites they’ve got.

Part of the problem in the U.S. is farmers switching over to corn for ethanol rather than more water-friendly crops like wheat and soy beans. Corn is a HUGE user of water.

Even lots of environmentalists are now against corn ethanol.

The real problem is that we’re drowning in idiots.

Its the amount of time taken for the water to percolate down to the aqufers versus the taking out of the water. Reduce the amount taken out at any time and a homeostatis will once again be achieved.

I predict that by fall there will be stories about the unexpected rise in great lakes water levels for the second year in a row.

If I were asked what the greatest environmental concern is, I would say potable water.

It isn’t a global issue, but in some locations it is significant.

The science that says that we are running out of water sounds like some “Bill Nye science”

California doesn't have enough water to support sanctuary cities will millions of illegals. Leftists who think dihydrogen monoxide is dangerous and could easily be convinced to have it banned may contribute to the water squeeze in CA.

http://www.dhmo.org/facts.html

P.S. Penn and Teller do a funny video with neo-hippies wanting to ban DHMO.

DMHO is a MUCH bigger threat to us than AGW could ever be!

We are running out of water while at same time the same people tell us the sea level is rising.... righttttttt....

now if the issues is fresh water vs sea water....would not collecting the fresh water runoff to the sea with these thing call “dams”...solve both problems?...

oh right.. the snail darter

We live in a closed system. Every drop of water God created in the beginning is still here.

The real problem is that we’re drowning in idiots.

And so many of those idiots are self-identifying as geniuses who should have the right to run other people's lives.

Yeah, but you’d think that if Silicon Valley is short of water, paying obscene amounts for housing, and complaining all the while that Americans cost too much to employ, they might MIGHT, give some thought to moving out of the high rent district. That way they could cut costs, have a lawn, get more respect as local employers, and actually be LOCAL employers.

Next time a Michael brown riot breaks out, perhaps the local denizens should be looking bottled water instead of Air Jordans, Widescreens, and Nikes along with CVS drugs nd starter jackets., et all.

Holy crap!! A whole new way to get a universal tax on everybody for merely existing. This is a globalist’s dream.
