“They are filing writs of Habeus Corpus now. “

Yes. We can all agree that we want the innocent to get out of jail and the guilty to be held responsible for their evil deeds.

That is the purpose of the system these United States put into place. It is not always perfect, but any perp with any lawyer can get any writ filed on his behalf, and I pray it is the innocent who get out!

You cannot be serious. 115 gangsters that have records as clean as a whistle. One of those gangsters is a retired police detective/former school bus driver. He was fired from his retirement job due to his arrest.

Quit believing the Waco police lies about who was there. It has been completely discredited.

“First IIRC about halfway down with the photo showing the gray truck and the silver blob above the wheel arch that they claim are bullet holes from automatic fire. Looking at that photo, bullet holes are not going to be bright chrome silver as circled in the pic”

1. If it were from .223’s they would have penetrated. The photo shows no penetration.

2. You are correct. It is the handlebar of the bike in the photo.

Let’s snip more than one sentence shall we? From Conservative Tree House as linked above

No-one here is saying the police, in totality, did anything wrong. Conversely, it would be unfair to think EVERYONE, who were rounded up as 170 ‘conspiracy suspects’ and who were detained in the aftermath, is guilty of murder.

There are many concerning aspects which need sunlight regarding the immediate police response to whatever caused the spark of violence. Similarly, there are concerning aspects about the wholesale arrest of ‘bikers’, or unaffiliated motorcycle riders, purely due to their proximity to a violent event they did not participate in.

Hopefully, anyone vested in the interests of lawful due process (ie. everyone) would be concerned with ‘wholesale roundups’.

I don't think that it was a motorcycle gang member that killed the child in Georgia who was merely answering a knock with a remote controller in his hand. I don't think that it was a motorcycle gang member that shot the old man that was only trying to get his walking cane. Where this happened escapes me at the moment. It was not a motorcycle gang member that threw the conclusion grenade in the crib containing the infant. It was not a motorcycle gang member who shot the motorists who was reaching for his driver's license after being ordered by the Trooper to produce his driver's license.

I am not doubting anything you say about the motorcycle gangs, but, we have the Courts due process to handle that.

“Hopefully, anyone vested in the interests of lawful due process (ie. everyone) would be concerned with ‘wholesale roundups’.”

By your summary, I am understanding that you, like the CTH have moved on and no longer believe this was a mass execution by the police?

No one can say what this was. Factual info is sparse. Those who know are not sharing. Wonder why?

What is known that continues to trouble me is the mass roundup and the excessive bail.

115 of those arrested showing no convictions on their records.

It was not a motorcycle gang member who shot the 12 year old in Cleveland with a toy gun; it was not a motorcycle gang member who shot the man in the store in Beaver Creek with a non-lethal fire arm. Etc.

I am not a “pansy” as my Dad called some. I do not know how I would react in all situations, but not having been trained as a police officer, I know that I would have walked up to the guy in the store and tapped him on the shoulder and said, HEY you are freaking people out here! Instead of calling 911. I know I would not have fired on a 12 year old two seconds after arriving on the “scene” and by the way, WHO are the people calling 911 on people with toy guns!?!

WHY though, are cops afraid? even, more afraid than you and I might be? Because there have been very young teenagers with no regard for their own lives nor the lives of any others, who would shoot a cop. Well, say I, the COP is the GROWN UP, and although no cop should have to give up his life and leave his children without a father and his wife without a husband, . . . shoot first before an analysis of the situation is just wrong.

BUT why do cops fear 12 . . . 15 year-olds? Because of the criminal culture.

Criminal culture DEMANDS police response, for the protection of society.

Outlaw gangs are what DEMAND LE response. No outlaw gangs, no LE at Waco, no 9 dead, etc.

“What is known that continues to trouble me is the mass roundup and the excessive bail.”

That can and will be discussed and litigated (writ of Habeas Corpus and bond reduction hearings). When these are held we will have a much clear picture.

“115 of those arrested showing no convictions on their records.”

This info will go into the above stated hearings. But it is irrelevant right now. Maybe some are innocent of overt actions that day but have records. Should we treat them with higher bail than those that committed overt actions but have no criminal convictions?

It is a mess to sort out the details. Was the roundup and detention extreme? Probably. But a gang war in a family plaza on a Saturday afternoon is extreme. Nine were killed but it could have been much worse.

No hearings and already?

Sounds like either (1) you lie and/or (2) someone was coerced to fold

“The system” you know is also a means of private vengeance. Although everyone, in their fig leaf, denies this.

No, Gatormouth, that is a lie. Treating topic A does not mean disavowal of topic B. You certainly have never accepted such a dismissal!

Jim Rob does this guy belong here? He is instigating every few minutes.

“You are believing an anonymous source cited by WaPo? Go ahead.”

That has far more substance, than just reading people exchange insults here.

And it isn’t “believing.” It is reading, considering, comparing, compiling, etc.

It looks very much like a process that criminals call “cooling out the mark” is going on here

Except the parties playing the process aren’t the bikers

Aren’t you equally as skeptical of that, as you are of other items you seen posted on the internet?

Well. The matter was posted under the AP banner. I guess there are some who disbelieve anything AP reports.

That number has been out there for quite a while.

What if it IS true? Are you good with locking up people for conspiracy who have no convictions on their record?

What are you reading, considering, and compiling? BATF reports heavily influenced by SPLC and DOJ sources out to prove the domestic terrorist meme? What are the chances that there are 170 people in Texas who should be held on a 1 million dollar bond, and that you'd get them all in the same place? Why do images show bodies next to their bikes, overturned bikes? (Shot while trying to escape?) Why were the police there in full swat gear, ready for a war?

How many informants did the police have in the Cossacks, the Banditos? Were they agents provocateur?

Why weren't the videos released immediately, as with situations where force by police was justified?

Where are the images of the shot-up vehicles the police were hiding behind? Not so much as a broken window.

Where are the statements from the wounded (bikers, not police, who apparently did not even stub a toe)?

This reeks of an ambush.

Now, I'm not hurling insults, and I have asked some serious questions.

I expect that by the time any real evidence is provided, any Brady Material (look that one up, its a good term) will have been buried.

In the meantime, the police want 170 million in bail money, have motorcycles worth a minimum of 1.7 million dollars (average of 10,000/bike), which is likely low by a factor of 2. Not to mention anything and everything else seized. There are 9 dead bodies they have to explain away in order to keep the goodies.

Yet they will be the ones doing the investigating. Maybe, just maybe there is a slight conflict of interest.

9mm would have penetrated, and I’m sure that’s what those two round marks between the bike’s mirror and the trucks taillight are.
