And anyhow, why were police being so cute about it. They could have issued a warning that Cossacks were likely to crash a Bandidos dominated event and that it would likely spark a brawl, and then called off the event as a public safety hazard.

Sounds like they wanted the trap more than they wanted to stop fighting from happening.

Yes with a literal company strength phalanx of cops with their toys on the perimeter

They were so worried they dared not shut the event themselves but rather chastised this Patel guy....a red dot obviously...to do it for them As manager of the joint

That’s absurd
