Full title: NTSB Investigator: ‘Nothing at All’ Heard From Amtrak Train Engineer Communications to Suggest Train Hit by Projectile

There was no communication between the derailed Amtrak train engineer to the dispatch center to suggest that a projectile had hit the ill-fated train, National Transportation Safety Board lead investigator Robert Sumwalt said.

“We interviewed the dispatchers and we listened to the dispatch tape, and we heard no communications at all from the Amtrak engineer to the dispatch center to say that something had struck his train,”

By the way, if a rock or brick struck the windshield, microscopic amounts of the material from an object will be embedded in the windshield at point of impact.

My hunch is nothing hit the windshield and if it had certainly did not cause the train to accelerate, nor did it cause the train driver to lose his memory.

Anything - ANYTHING AT ALL - to avoid placing blame (that anathema to Liberals) where blame is due; on the carelessness and indifference of an unqualified, Black, homosexual, affirmative action hire who was just plain going to d*mn fast in violation of all rules and all common sense.

The necessity of coming to such a non-PC, yet obvious, conclusion is killing everyone.

Well, of course the engineer didn’t say anything about a projectile impact before the crash. But he’ll remembered such an impact after coaching by his lawyer.

So far this guys union reps said the engineer was possibly fatigued from working too many hours.

Others have suggested projectile into the windshield knocked out the driver and caused the train to accelerate.

A poster last night suggested a passenger terrorist snuck up behind the engineer and knocked him unconscious, jammed the throttle fully on, and then ran back to his seat.

This what is called a “lie paradox”.

On the one hand he is claiming that he remembers nothing about events leading up to and including the derailment. On the other, it has been suggested that he may have been hit by a projectile, or at least reported it.

The task at hand is to figure out from statements by him exactly when he “began to forget” about the accident.

Agree. There seems to be an orchestrated line of concocted excuses emanating from this deadly incident. Very odd.

I could be wrong, but I believe the fault will lie directly with the engineer.

If a brick went THROUGH the windshield and bounced off the engineer's head the brick would be found laying on the floor of the engineer's cab somewhere. The NTSB did inspect the controls and vicinity of where he was working, didn't they?

Very important fact in the case. How many times will we have to put to rest the "look at the squirrel" diversions?

I was searching for some of the original reports from the accident on duck duck go. They have been buried over the past few days by an onslaught of "look at the squirrel" occupation media postings. I guess it works. Look at all the Freepers who have fallen for it?

Something is really fishy is going on here!!! It’s five days since the accident...and nary a clue or fact has been revealed as to what caused this tragedy. The CEO of Amtrak is lost at sea. I suspect he is an Obama appointee...he certainly is not of CEO caliber. This whole darn government run Amtrak is a farce and failure. Privatize it tomorrow!!!

Was anyone in the control cab with the train engineer...or, does the engineer operate the train all by himself with no backup? Was there a “dead man switch” activated? Did Obama’s Mayor “Nutter” secure the track area from vandals or terrorists by fencing it off, not allowing near access to the train or trains!!! Mayor Nutter, of course, is far from the sharpest knife in the drawer (he did not know the difference from a (train conductor & train engineer). These Obamabots are on an active cover up...following orders from their incompetent leader, Obama...IMHO!!!

Absolutely. If an object compromised and penetrated the windshield, there will be material from the impact object inside engine cab and embedded in the windshield.

They wont’ find anything like that IMO.

The excuses coming in for this engineer are at least humorous.

We’ve got a projectile attack, terrorist passengers sneaking up knocking him out...The union says he worked too many hours and was fatigued.

This is all BS IMO.
