Noting that he’s “perhaps the most progressive member of the United States Senate,” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) described today how, as president, he would do socialism in America.
“When we talk about Democratic socialism, I think it is important to realize that there are countries around the world, like Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, who have had social democratic governments on and off for many, many years. And we can learn a whole lot from some of those countries,” the 2016 Democratic presidential contender said on CBS this morning.
“For example, the United States is the only major country on earth that doesn’t guarantee healthcare to all people as a right.

America's medicine is still the best in the world however, if the tattered and shopworn mess called Obamacare isn't totally de-funded, American medicine will look like EU etc...poor care for lack of doctors, nurses, poorly run hospitals not to mention the industry from uniforms to research will no longer be attainable. Socialized medicine is not sustainable...the unions,US government pensions alone are breaking the bank today.....this is nation wide. Towns, cities infrastructure decay while American retires tied to the government tit are breaking the bank.....

I agree we can learn from Europe’s socialist countries. We can be wise and learn from their mistakes by NOT repeating them!

How about you actually WORK your way through college. So it takes 6 or 7 years to get your degree. Maybe some valuable life skills could be learned doing it that way. Oh, wait. Community college should be “free” for everybody. UPOS. Ain’t nuthin’ “FREE”!
