Congress giving Obama 'blank check' for gun control

Congress is being urged to approve the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade plan even though most have not read it, and a leading gun-rights activist says the plan could give President Obama the power to limit the importation of ammunition and implement his political agenda in many different ways.

“Fast track authority in the context of this treaty means a blank check,” said Gun Owners of America Executive Director Larry Pratt.

“By a majority vote, the Congress is preparing to give the president authorization to negotiate a treaty. When he brings it back, it would take two thirds of the Senate to vote it down because of the way they set up the parliamentary system,” Pratt told WND.

“Any Treaty needs to be ratified by 2/3 vote of the Senate..” That’s the way it’s supposed to go down but the lyin’ king has no problem promising to get a treaty through and while attempting to do so, the xyz govt agency goes ahead and starts putting rules and regs in place as if the treaty has been signed off on. Just try getting the rules and regs removed once they’re in place. “Mission Accomplished.”

Those congress critters might see it a different way - you know, safety for the masses and of course it’s for the children.

Written on the fly. How long did it take you to come up with your snarky pro-Republican-establishment “Look at me I’m a liberal” defense?

When congress sold out to the islamonazis it stayed sold out. The enemy is not just in the White House, folks. The enemy is also on Capitol Hill ( or should we say Capital Hill) and it’s now wearing robes of both parties. Pray for America, our political elite is selling us out just like the political elite of several European nations have done to them

The judiciary is just as big a bunch of political hacks as the other 2 collaborating branches of big government. They just have better costumes and a more refined theatrical score.

I’m deeply amazed that conservatives expect to get anywhere with the judiciary. Sure, we get tossed a bone every now and then. But in thr grand scheme its just a series of pyrhic victories.

You are the only other FReeper, besides myself, whom I have seen bring that TPP/Ted Cruz support point up here. I have been for Ted ALL the way along, (still am), but I hope to heck he can somehow explain this support. The TPP is the worst thing to come down America’s way since The Patriot Act and the Nazi Germany style NDAA thing. No true conservative should ever voice so much as one word of support for this TPP nightmare. When I saw the video of Ted supporting this TPP I about puked.
