Hillary Clinton might want to take note of the shocker across the pond.
For weeks, as the UKs general election approached, polls had the Conservative and Labor parties in a too-close-to-call race, even headed to a hung Parliament where neither had enough votes to form a government. Yet, when all the votes were counted Thursday night, the Conservatives had a clear (if narrow) majority better than theyd done last time out.
Labor after a hard left turn that repudiated its mid-90s resurgence under then-Prime Minister Tony Blair lost 26 seats and was virtually wiped out in Scotland.

UK Election Should Make the Democrats Nervous: I hope this is not just wishful thinking.

There may even be a pattern here. Polling in both Israel and the UK understated conservative performance by a huge margin. It’s almost like conservatives no longer respect the media or pollsters enough to communicate their positions honestly.
It doesn’t.
Conservatism does not mean the same thing over there.
BTW, I read the headline as “British voters warming to Hillary Clinton.” Still on my 1st coffee.
Hillary doesn’t give a damn. By the time the Clinton Machine and its cheerleaders get through, the American morons will think Hillary is Mother Teresa and Bill is Big Bird.
No, its that the media does not respect conservatives or pollsters.
It never has.
I had forgotten that Mr. Charisma, Kaiser Wilhelm, had spoken at the Labour convention. Who was the genius behind this decision, lol?
“I don’t think the British conservative victory means that much for voters here.”
Probably right.
There is no “American” population anymore. Just a group of “international” individuals who love Progressives and who become brilliant intellectual geniuses when they vote left.
The new messiahs are human, the new gods are human, and the new church is located in the halls of a
Progressive-dominated congress.
IMHO
Maybe Hillary would be a better deal for us than that pudgy Jeb, with his patronizing attitude, his disdain for conservatives
and that annoying, ratty smirk.
I wonder, now, if having so many hard-core RINOs in the race is forcing Hillary to have to move even further left than she planned. It’s hard to get to left of Bush and most other Republicans on Amnesty and even on a number of other issues. Also, she has to know that her Democrat support is very thin, pretty much only based on name recognition at that point, and she may be worried about her own party too.
I doubt she wants to be where she is, and she’s leaving the entire middle wide open for a guy like Cruz (i.e., Cruz) to lock up the Republican base and then grab a huge chunk of the middle.
If she wins the nomination, and faces Cruz, I think, now, it will be a BLOWOUT.
Hillary has:
- 2.5 billion dollars
- an army of government worker foot soldiers
- 5% additional votes because of the media
- huge advantage in illegal alien voters
- advantage is those voting multiple times
- an entrenched organization for running
- a cadre of high paid professional liars
- half the population receiving benefits paid by us who have no interest in giving up the gravy train
- absentee ballots filled out for people in care facilities and mental facilities
- P.I. hitmen gathering info to destroy anyone who could get in her way (or whack people, if necessary)
- absolutely no conscience.....she will do anything because the worst that will happen is a small fine
Aussie Lynton Crosby ran an excellent campaign for the Tories.
