Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum is clarifying — but not stepping back from — surprising comments this weekend in support of former Olympian Bruce Jenner's decision to come out as a transgender woman.
"If he says he's a woman, then he's a woman," Santorum told BuzzFeed during a roundtable discussion in South Carolina on Saturday.
Santorum continued: "My responsibility as a human being is to love and accept everybody. Not to criticize people for who they are."

That is the problem. There has been too much ‘acceptance’ and ‘respect’.
We have allowed the culture to degenerate into a rotting, maggot infested, zombie.
And now the zombie wants to eat us.
We should not hate anyone - but we definitely need to get in peoples faces and push back. Hard.

Yes, self loathing and a desire to mutilate ones self is an illness. Rick is either pandering or displaying a lack of knowledge and common sense. I was never comfortable with him as a Presidential candidate.

Now his holier-than-thou attitude and his softness on un-naturalness and self-mutilation makes me think he's mentally had some of the same surgery as Jenner.

Take a blood sample. It will come back MALE. You cannot change that. The fact that he thinks this, shows a mental instability.
Now, I feel sorry for people who struggle with this problem. But, you cannot change your biological make-up. And, I think that all of these people jumping on this bandwagon and saying, well, if that's how he feels, then he is a woman. No, he is having a mental breakdown and needs help. Unfortunately, the people who are licensed to help in such matters have decided to promote and push this nonsense, so where does someone go who wants help with this problem, other than redoing their genitals and trying desperately to be something they are not.

Is there a fourth "tier" for GOP candidates? If so, I doubt if he's even able to stay at that level with his viewpoints pandering to the small percentage of sex-obsessed, easily-titillated, freak-loving GOP primary voters.
