I started to agree, then I remembered that almost all of the trans-what-have-you claim that they always “felt” like they were what-have-you, ie, they were “born that way” but were too afraid or unconscious of it before, to admit it.
Since the religion of secular humanism is based upon what humans can “prove” through their senses, they must then undergo the knife to physically become, as closely as possible, what they claim to believe they are. At least Christianity admits to being faith-based, so that we don’t ourselves expect to, or demand that others, actually see the Holy Spirit, except through His influence in our lives.
Last time I posted with albion she claims she’s a retired school teacher and/or past 60. One of them.
The truth is in the middle.
Bruce Jenner was born with a brain dysfunction, like thousands of Americans. Some have OCD, some bipolar. His is that his brain thinks female, though he is a man. On scans female brains show activity complete differently than male brains. We have all noticed the different ways boys and girls, men and women, think. And inside, you “know” you are your gender. Matching your body. Some people have a condition where they also “know” they are one gender, though they are born a different one.
We need to show prayer and compassion for all people born with differences. They can’t help it.
The bleeding heart libs are wrong when they say this is “normal.” It isn’t; it’s clearly dysfunctional. But they are right and conservatives are wrong on caring for these individuals. Allow them to live life how they wish so that they don’t kill themselves over the pain of the difference. Half of them try to kill themselves, for something that is not their fault, because evil people are cruel about it.
Evil people used to be mocking and cruel to people with Down Syndrome. Now, these people are finally given the respect they deserve and chances at as great a life as they can live. We need to give these people with gender dysphoria the same kindness and loving human respect.
Biology is biology.

I don’t appreciate being called names, but with the venomous, nasty treatment Bruce Jenner is getting on this forum, I guess I’d have to expect it. I don’t know the man and knew nothing about him except the Olympic thing and him being part of the Kardahsians. However, I recognize that he has tried very hard in his life to overcome his mental illness, has tried over and over to live the life of a normal man, but has been unable. I think being charitable toward him would be more conservative, as this whole site is about getting back a Free Republic. I would like to live my life MY way and I’d also like, according to the Golden Rule, the right for every other American to live their life THEIR way. I Accept that people won’t like my life style and that I won’t like theirs, and we can be civil.
Because how he wishes to live is unsavory, people here think that means he should be mocked for his mental illness. Just do not call yourselves good religous people.
I think he needs to surrender his olympic medals since he participated in the wrong gender events.
