Exactly! The argument makes no sense at all, yet otherwise-sane people keep making it. It's ridiculous.
I had the same thought. But, during the interview, he claims to have been crossdressing since he was a little boy.
I feel sorry for him. He's right about one thing - this must've been a terrible mental affliction to deal with every day. It sounds like a form of obsessive-compulsion. Instead of helping him, the so-called "doctors" are using him to make money (through surgery, etc.) and to serve a political agenda.
Yeah, I think that would cure these guys who think they want to be women.
