Mitch McConnell to Conservatives: Drop Dead
conservativehq.com ^ | 4/24/15 | George Rasley

Yesterday’s Senate vote on the confirmation of Loretta Lynch, President Obama’s nominee to succeed Attorney General Eric Holder, was a classic example of why talk among conservatives of forming a third party alternative to the establishment Republican Party will not die.

Not only did the usual jelly-backed Senate Republicans vote to confirm Lynch, they were led by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, whose job is, ostensibly, to be the leader of the conservative opposition to Obama and his lawless progressive agenda.

In moving the Lynch nomination McConnell broke a pre-election promise that no attorney general nominee would be considered in his Senate if that nominee supported Obama’s executive amnesty, something that Lynch testified she supports.

So McConnell’s vote for Lynch was a sort of “go to hell” moment that conservatives should recognize for what it is: Mitch McConnell saying directly to the conservative Republican grassroots and the conservative movement that opposed Lynch that, despite the fact that conservative voters handed back the Senate majority to the Republican Party in 2014 to make him Senate Majority Leader, he not only doesn’t care what they think, he will go out of his way to disrespect them and confound their policy goals.

Lynch, who testified under oath that she would readily carry out policies contrary to the Constitution could have – indeed should have – been stopped by Republicans in the Senate, but she wasn’t.

In fact ten Republicans voted for Lynch, despite a substantial outpouring of conservative opposition from the grassroots of the Republican Party, the conservative blogospere and conservative commentators and opinion writers all of whom argued that Loretta Lynch would be as bad or worse than Eric Holder –

Mitch McConnell is in revenge mode. If conservatives are against something, he is going to make sure it gets passed. If they are for something, he will stymie it.

He DEEPLY resents that he was challenged last year and that he had to spend so much of his precious campaign account (slush fund) just to get renominated. He got all his faithful minions reelected and is out for blood.

It is almost like they have something up their sleeve that the don’t expect to need the conservative vote which is 40% of the people by some polls.

Those ten ‘Republicans’ will rot in h*** for their wickedness. Shouldn’t an attorney who breaks the law be disbarred? Lynch should be disbarred, not be in charge of this once great country.

It very well may be revenge; but I still would like to know what the NSA, CIA, FBI et al have on McConnel and Boehner, it must be very bad.

She has to take an oath. She will swear to uphold the Constitution, which she will not uphold. She can be impeached can't she?

If Obama (for whatever reason) can't be impeached, she possibly could be impeached.

Any Constitutional experts in the audience?

When the Resistance finally finds its courage and revolution sweeps this nation, McConnell needs to be one of the first to hang.

Yes, I said it. Ban me.

Come on everyone. This was horse trading at its best. The republicans wanted the Human Trafficking bill to move forward and the rats wouldn’t do it until McConnell relented on Lynch.

In other words, once again the rats owned McConnell.

The GOP is as evil as Obama.
and WORSE because the GOP lies, deceives, cheats,
as it protects treason and corruption.

EXEMPT McConnell is truly the Head of the GOP
and represents every disgusting Truth about that evil party.

Everyone should remember these names and primary them out. They are Democrats in R jerseys advancing the left’s agenda under the guise of being Republicans.

They either voted for cloture to move the nomination forward or voted for a nominee who testified that federal laws are meaningless.

Thank you for posting that complete list, the ones voting for cloture need to be outed as much as the ones voting to confirm.
