Ted Cruz SLAMS Republican majority in the Senate for allowing Lynch nomination
The Right Scoop ^ | 4-23-2015 | The Right Scoop

On the Senate floor a few moments ago, Ted Cruz SLAMMED the new Senate Republican majority for refusing to block Loretta Lynch’s nomination to Attorney General. He said that the Republican majority could continue to block the nomination if they wanted to and it’s something he’s urged them to do do because of her admissions to run the DOJ in a lawless fashion just like Eric Holder.

He pointed out that more than a few voters are asking what is the difference between a Republican and Democratic Senate majority when someone promising the exact same lawlessness as Holder will be allowed to get confirmed. He says that’s something each Republican will have to explain to their constituents.

He also adds that not a single Republican can vote for such a nomination and be consistent with their oath of office to support and defend the Constitution.

“He also adds that not a single Republican can vote for such a nomination and be consistent with their oath of office to support and defend the Constitution.”

That’s the crux of it Ted, many “republicans” don’t support the Constitution.

he's awesoe. The sooner he makes a case for why he's voting for the free trade agreement, the better. I dont know if it's a good agreement or not. I have read both sides and am still confused. Even so, i am not looking to vote for God. If we disgree on one or two things, so be it.

Ted Cruz: "No senator can vote for this confirmation consistent with his or her oath [of office to support and defend the Constitution]."

That's Senate floor verbiage for "A senator who votes for Lynch is a traitor to the United States of Ameica."

Remember the names of the traitors who vote for Lynch!

Cheers for Cruz. I'd like to see him shut the Senate down to put action behind his words.

BTW, where is Rubio on this?

Tell me again how the last congressional election changed things. I keep forgetting.

I don’t know, but there is no reason to vote for Lynch and claim you love America.

"Even so, i am not looking to vote for God. If we disgree on one or two things, so be it."

And WTF is that supposed to mean? We should vote for Godly leaders to ensure liberty and justice. I know it sounds quaint, but I'm tired of the broken record of voting for the lesser evil. Evil is still evil, go ahead and support the lesser evil if you want to.

Must see!

I love and respect our Constitution. It IS, along with a free, thinking people, the United States of America. Here is a leader who believes it is more than a decorative sheepskin.
