Voces de la Frontera challenges Walker on immigration
Wisconsin Gazette ^ | April 22, 2015 | Wisconsin Gazette

Posted on 04/22/2015 10:29:07 AM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

..."The next president and the next Congress need to make decisions about a legal immigration system that's based on, first and foremost, on protecting American workers and American wages," Walker said. "Because the more I've talked to folks—I've talked to Sen. Sessions and others out there, but it is a fundamentally lost issue by many in elected positions today—is what is this doing for American workers looking for jobs, what is this doing to wages, and we need to have that be at the forefront of our discussion going forward."

Christine Neumann-Ortiz, executive director of Voces de la Frontera, responded, “It is shameful for Gov. Walker to continue his flip-flop to the extreme right when it comes to justice for immigrants and working families. By announcing his support for restrictions on legal immigration and aligning himself with Sen. Sessions, the leader of the nativist wing of the Republican Party, Gov. Walker has showed his true colors. It is ridiculous for this governor to advance restrictions on immigration as a measure to protect U.S. workers, when his own actions demonstrate his disregard for the plight of working class families in Wisconsin."

She continued, “His governorship has been a disaster for working families in Wisconsin, immigrant and U.S.-born alike and no amount of trying to pit communities against one another can divert attention from his shameful record."

Voces de la Frontera, which is based in Milwaukee, is organizing its May Day rally on May 1 and,in the statement, urged people to join the march for immigration reform and to call out Walker.

"This May 1, we call on community members to join us in marching to demand the implementation of administrative relief now, passage of immigration reform with a path to citizenship, funding for public education, living wages and the restoration of collective bargaining rights for all workers,"said Neumann-Ortiz.

Voces de la Frontera, which is based in Milwaukee, is organizing its May Day rally on May 1

Can someone translate the name of this organization into English?

Note that their rally is on May 1, the traditional May Day rally day for communists everywhere.

Note also that this foreign named communist organization is based in Milwaukee WI. It’s not like there has been no illegal alien presence in WI until yesterday.

I like Walker’s new position, I just wonder why it took him so long to see the detrimental effects of the invasion of illegal aliens that has been readily apparrent to anyone paying even the slightest bit of attention.

OK, I looked it up myself, Voices of the Frontier.
Apparently they believe that the frontier of Mexico is in WI.
Just the name of the organization should get the attention of anyone with any sense.
This is colonization, not immigration.

January 3, 2011 - Walker assumes Office of Governor of Wisconsin.

June 27, 2011: Walker Revokes In-state Tuition For Undocumented Students Attending Univ And Colleges In Wisconsin "- On Sunday, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) signed his two-year 2011-2013 budget, which included ending in-state tuition for undocumented students attending public universities and colleges. In-state tuition for undocumented students was approved two years ago by former Governor Jim Doyle (D) after the Hispanic community struggled for 10 years to pass it."...

"...Walker signed his two-year budget at the Fox Valley Metal-Tech's Plant in Ashwaubenon near Greenbay. More than 200 protestors were outside the company with signs calling Walker, "You dirty rat" and "Shame, shame."....

Scott Walker, the GOP's new self-deportation champion "That didn’t take long. Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.) is now the first 2016 GOP presidential potential walking the anti-immigration plank, hoping — against history — that this time it will lead to the White House and not just to a watery political death........."

Scott has a problem.

He states his immigration policy has changed.

What do you do if you want to protect the jobs of U. S. Citizens? Don’t you send back the people who are here illegally holding down jobs?

In this video clip his old (2013) policy is aired in a second video clip. He backs illegals staying in the U. S. if they pay a fine.

It is also mentioned that he favored the McCain/Kennedy immigration bill. (You know, amnesty but not an amnesty) He acknowledges that.

Then in this (03/01/2015) clip, Walker is asked if illegals can stay, if they pay a fine. He responds with, I believes a way can be found to do that.

This is the same policy as his old policy.

Then he states that his policy has changed. No Scott, it hasn’t changed. You just got through endorsing the same policy, illegals being allowed to stay in our country if they pay a fine. So you even fibbed about it.

In 2006/07, 2013, and now in 2015, his immigration policy regarding illegal immigrants is the same as that under McCain/Kennedy. Let them pay a fine and stay.

Immigration is discussed starting at 9:20 and the “...a way can be found...” is located at 10:20

This organization “Voices of the Frontier” has been operating in WI since 2002. They are probably associated with The National Council of The Race, and apparently believe the frontier of Mexico is in Wisconsin, the state of my birth and very far from the real frontier of Mexico.
What is happening is not immigration and anyone who has seen it firsthand should know it.
I live in Virgina now and had assumed the invasion did not reach Wisconsin until much later than 2002. Obviously that assumption was wrong.
Walker’s new position is encouraging, but I don’t trust him. He should have known this before now.

And I love it! And wouldn't care if they want to call me a 'nativist'. That La Frontera group ought to change their name to 'foreigners on the frontier'.

Let Voces explain this;
In “countries where an American citizen decides to be a “legal” emigree (which incuides Mexico) never mind being a seasonal visitor .Still are denied voting privledges and own land in their own name. Once unable to sustain themselves and become dependent on the state. Face steep fines before getting kicked out let alone get income and energy subsistance including food stamps, or bring in family members .

Americans who want to succeed, and who want our country to succeed, need to consider Hillary's and Bill's devotion to the U.N. and to their multi-billion dollar slush fund, called the Clinton Global Initiative.

The Clintons and their backers look to the UN, and to George Soros, and to anti-American countries (who have a vested interest in a weak U.S. national defense [what Hillary and her administration in waiting call "SMART" national/international defense/diplomacy] and a weak U.S. economy).

When Americans (of all stripes) understand that this is where the Clinton's money and muscle comes from, they will understand why her election is so bad for them.

It couldn't be clearer and that is why the MSM is going along with Hillary's "Un-running" campaign.

Frontera also means “border” and is where we get our word frontier. Frontier in American English connotes pioneering. But in the French and Spanish, it just means border, or line.
