Why Hillary Can't Be in the Moment
The American Thinker ^ | Doris O'Brien

Posted on 04/18/2015 12:24:30 AM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

Watching Hillary Clinton reach out and touch ordinary Americans is excruciating. In working a crowd of regular folks, Hillary is fingernails on the blackboard in a pantsuit. It is difficult to imagine anyone more out of touch with their own affect, movement, and connection to the people around them. She is unable to talk, touch, listen or smile in a natural manner. She doesn't seem to know what to do with her hands, where to direct her eyes, her scope of awareness is restricted. A blind person with a stick would be better than Hillary Clinton at reading people around them.

In the staged and rigidly controlled glimpses of her we see people positioned a handshake away wishing to be noticed by this woman, who may be the next president, growing discouraged and becoming commensurately uncomfortable because Hillary can't see them. Everyone is down on Hillary. The right hates her for moral, patriotic, and ideological reasons, the left wing has a worsening case of Hillaphobia. Those on the left who are not too drug-addled to be aware of politics don't like her because they are driven by narcissistic emotional needs which she does not meet. She cannot reach the anti-traditionalist places where the left likes to be massaged, nor can she humor them with hipness. It's too late for Hillary to blow the smoke of radical transformation, on someone else's dime, up the left-wing's collective keister. Hillary can trot out plausible transgenders when necessary, but fundamentally she chose to stand by her man and political expedience at every point in her career. Just being around her makes people feel uncomfortable and she clearly returns the unhappy condition.

BTW: I don’t want to give the impression I have forgiven Noonan for the snobby, snotty things she wrote and said about Sarah Palin.

"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." - Attributed to Abraham Lincoln.

Can you imagine if Ted Cruz gets the nomination and takes on Hillary Clinton in a Presidential debate? Cruz would figuratively run Hillary off the stage in no time flat.

Has she ever ask for forgiveness?

Not that I am aware of!

Maybe I should have made clear, also: I’m not one of those people who run around forgiving people who aren’t sorry.

I wonder why political pundits are using acting school jargon to explain Hillary’s inability to be anything other than a lying phony.

I'm sure others have noticed but it was obvious to me watching clips of this woman meeting with the small groups of "normal Americans", that she was hating every moment of it. Her fake smile and nodding of the head masked what was just under the surface...a bored, grimaced look like she wanted to get the hell out of there as quick as possible. Like she was enduring the pain of having to do it for appearances sake but really couldn't stand mixing and mingling with those of a lesser station in life. She really hates people and is a terrible campaigner because of it.

And did you notice her taking notes, like she was preparing for a pop quiz or getting advice on what to do as president? How absurd. No one does that.

This phony mini-tour in the van will be her last, I predict. It was all for theatrics and she will fly first-class or private jet from now on.

PEGGY NOONAN OBSERVES HILLARY: "Never in modern political history has such tenacity and determination been marshaled to achieve such puny purpose: the mere continuance of Them.....unprincipled narcissists in a WH thoroughly penetrated by the political left."

Hillary is precisely the wannabe the Founders guarded against---a power-monger with an army of acolytes, lying in wait to undo the govt that protects everyday Americans and our freedoms.

Seeing Hillary's "announcement" on a news segment was unnerving----arrogantly announcing her presidential whims amid middle class people going about their business----was downright scary.

Hillary looked like an alien from outer space.

Americans should be asking---why did this political retread raise $2.5 billion for a job worth about $2 million w/ perks and a plane?

It's easy to put together the jagged pieces known as the Clintons...when you recognize their every move is designed to maximize donations to the $2.5 billion Clinton Foundation.

Hillary's strange rollout in an unmarked black van w/ only Huma in attendance, the weird video stop at Chipotle, the staged listening sessions....

All of that is targeted to donors---to reassure them she's in the race and it won't be long til she wields the presidential pen and they'll all get payback w/ plenty of interest.

The rallying cry for Hillary's bid for the WH? "Time to hijack another US agency.....the US Treasury."

The true story of what happened to Hillary, which is being recounted in these pages for the first time, was radically different from Reines’s version.

To begin with, Hillary fainted while she was working in her seventh-floor office at the State Department, not at home, as Reines told the media. She was treated at the State Department’s infirmary and then, at her own insistence, taken to Whitehaven to recover. However, as soon as Bill appeared on the scene and was able to assess Hillary’s condition for himself, he ordered that she be immediately flown to New York–Presbyterian Hospital in the Fort Washington section of Manhattan. When Reines subsequently released a statement confirming that Hillary was being treated at the hospital over the New Year’s holiday, it naturally intensified speculation about the seriousness of her medical condition.

While she was at the hospital, doctors diagnosed Hillary with several problems.

She had a right transverse venous thrombosis, or a blood clot between her brain and skull. She had developed the clot in one of the veins that drains blood from the brain to the heart. The doctors explained that blood stagnates when you spend a lot of time on airplanes, and Hillary had clocked countless hours flying around the world.

To make matters worse, it turned out that Hillary had an intrinsic tendency to form clots and faint. In addition to the fainting spell she suffered in Buffalo a few years before, she had fainted boarding her plane in Yemen, fallen and fractured her elbow in 2009, and suffered other unspecified fainting episodes. Several years earlier, she had developed a clot in her leg and was put on anticoagulant therapy by her doctor. However, she had foolishly stopped taking her anticoagulant medicine, which might have explained the most recent thrombotic event.

“The unique thing about clotting in the brain is that it could have transformed into a stroke,” said a cardiac specialist with knowledge of Hillary’s condition.

Page 195

According to a source close to Hillary, a thorough medical examination revealed that Hillary’s tendency to form clots was the least of her problems. She also suffered from a thyroid condition, which was common among women of her age, and her fainting spells indicated there was an underlying heart problem as well. A cardiac stress test indicated that her heart rhythm and heart valves were not normal. Put into layman’s language, her heart valves were not pumping in a steady way.

When the author attempted to contact the Clintons’ cardiologist, Dr. Allan Schwartz, he refused to comment, which made it impossible to determine the exact nature of Hillary’s medical status or its long-term significance. However, sources who dis- cussed Hillary’s medical condition with her were told that Hillary’s doctors considered performing valve-replacement surgery. They ultimately decided against it. Still, before they released Hillary from the hospital, they warned Bill Clinton: “She has to be carefully monitored for the rest of her life.”

Hillary can only naturally be “in the moment” when she is slobbering drunk and facing off with Huma in a vigorous game of tonsil hockey.

I wonder why political pundits are using acting school jargon...

Good catch. "In the moment".

I'm pretty sure it's because everything the political Left does is an act. But specifically Shakespearean-style acting, without feeling. And "over-the-top", so the people in the back row can see it.

Hopefully, we can draw the curtain on the Left's Passionless Play in the 2016 elections. Then the left-stream media can print:

"And Scene!"

I know for certain that, behind that fake smile on that plastic surgeoned face, there is a hatred for the traditional American that goes beyond rational. She hates with a passion the “Right Wing Conspiracy” for holding back the progress she and those on the Left have wanted to accomplish for 40 years.
