We all do no end of feeling and we mistake it for thinking. And out of it we get an aggregation which we consider a boon. It’s name is public opinion. It is held in reverence. It settles everything. Some think it is the voice of God.”

Moron reporters are going to get extremely tired of Cruz answering their dumb canned questions with brilliant ripostes that leave them looking foolish.
He wasn’t a national debate champ for nothing.

As if they could appreciate such a thing... they just call him a troglodyte.

Man, he covered a lot of bases there.
Very good response...
What it tells you, is at least on this topic, this guy is a fire in the belly Conservative.
Not since Ronald Reagan have we had one of those.
If he’s this well grounded on one issue, you can bet he is well grounded on others.
His response was right, because this guy’s core values are such that you could probably ask him any question and he’d know instinctively what the proper response would be.
Wow, certainly a guy to watch.
How many times have we see a Republican leader asked a question, and they couldn’t got more than one sentence without veering off course? Go Ted...

He’s fair.
He still doesn’t get the idea (among other things) that a pyramid scheme remains a pyramid scheme no matter how many politicians have promised it to how many people. The libertarians are right about SS. Privatize it, phase it out. There is no way it can be self sustaining with modern demographic expectations.
Nonetheless, I will not be a purist about politicians.

Refreshing to have a guy who doesn’t mind speaking the truth and who is smart enough to not fall into the pretty stupid traps that others seem to.

"Another excellent answer from a brilliant man." Can't say it any better than that.
I think gallons and gallons of popcorn will need to be popped in preparation for the debates. ;)
