He’s fair.

He still doesn’t get the idea (among other things) that a pyramid scheme remains a pyramid scheme no matter how many politicians have promised it to how many people. The libertarians are right about SS. Privatize it, phase it out. There is no way it can be self sustaining with modern demographic expectations.

Nonetheless, I will not be a purist about politicians.

I believe it should be phased out as well.

Families are really screwed in this nation. It’s time we treated them right.

We need to start allowing people to save up and retire earlier in their live if they wish. And the government should help rather than hinder them in that process.

Phase out is the first step. It does need to be designed right.

I agree, but these are issues to be dealt with once a modicum of constitutional authority has been wrested back from the usurpers of the rule of law. What we are experiencing now was described in a post yesterday as Anarco-tyranny. The way back will be incremental with successes and failures. Anyone looking for the perfect candidate to wave a magic wand and restore us to a foundational constitutional government merely by his election as president would be better served tilting at windmills.
