WASHINGTON — Army officials are investigating a diversity training briefing at Fort Gordon, Ga., in which a slide about "white privilege" was inappropriately shown to soldiers, according to an Army spokeswoman.
The Equal Opportunity briefing took place Thursday for about 400 soldiers of the 67th Signal Battalion, Capt. Lindsay Roman, an Army spokeswoman, said Friday. The slide titled "The Luxury of Obliviousness" has bullet-point items about "white privilege."

The EEO officer evidently went off the reservation. Maybe the military should look at the tendency of certain racial groups to gravitate towards non-combat arms branches.
It reminds me about senior USSR Military officers each having their own ‘political’ officer from the party along with them during their command. At least as envisioned by Tom Clancy. Don’t know how true or prevalent it was.
I would like to know the rank and a little background on the instructor who ‘went a bit overboard’.
WTH is with the ARMY! Remember a couple years ago they had the SAME situation come up but it was about White domestic terrorists, or training to kill kids or some such thing,,,and it was said the literature was not correct, big mistake, yadda yadda.

All the good people need to stay and ‘hold down the fort’. In two years when Obama and goons are out of office - they can leave or stay. For now, best to stay put and protect the country.

In the late 1990’s it was “Consideration of Others” but even that did not attack a specific ethnic group.
OBTW one does not have to be dark skinned to belong to an ethnic group, just human.

I lost my job 3 years ago and haven’t been able to find another permanent one. I feel real privileged. Bastards.
I usually just sit there quietly while the useless NCO banters at us about EO, but I would definitely speak up if I saw this B.S. on the screen. I’ve been through enough of these briefings to know what they look like, and they don’t look like this. This is a mouth-breathing NCO who decided to add his/her commentary into the check-the-block briefing that we’re required to sit through (aka, a captive audience).
Burn this individual at the stake.
“White Privilege” is the excuse divised by those who were never slaves to fleece reparations from those who never owned slaves.
