Fox News security analyst KT McFarland told anchor Gretchen Carlson Thursday afternoon that President Barack Obama “got played” in the just-agreed to framework for an Iran nuclear deal.
“We are giving up all sanctions, all of our leverage, and what are we giving up for it?” McFarland asked. “Vague promises.”
“The whole point of having an arrangement with Iran was to get Iran to stop building nuclear weapons and to prevent a nuclear arms race,” McFarland said. “This does neither.”
McFarland pointed out that multiple countries in the region didn’t believe Iran would hold to the deal and were looking to start their own nuclear programs.

interesting point. Even if Israel does not attack Iran this phony ‘deal” succeeds in further isolating Israel.
Wrong. The whole point of having a deal was to legitimize the regime in Tehran and free them from burdensome sanctions. Mission accomplished.

Interesting points. Can’t actually disagree with them. The later is iffy, but who knows? You may be right. This guy, like Clinton, seems to have had sinister forces behind him from early on.

But Obama wanted this so badly he took the slaps in the face, and in return he conceded the following: no more sanctions, legitimization of the regime in Tehran by the US, and they still get to work towards a bomb. And the propaganda win of looking like they defeated us at the negotiating table. And we get.... nothing.
Exactly. “Getting played” means you were fooled or tricked into doing something you would not have done had the other party been honest. He got exactly the “deal” he wanted. But seriously, folks, it changes nothing. The Iranians intended to proceed as they wished all along no matter the outcome of these phony negotiations.

I would take that as a compliment. The Senate and the “47” should be praised if an agreement/treaty isn't finalized because of them.
