I've just about given up on America. My hope is to teach my kids so they can maintain decency in an evil world. We're educating them, teaching them about God, decency, Western culture, beauty, and truth. My fear is they'll inherit an Idiocracy at best, and a Satanic theocracy at worst. We're on the road to both. God will not be surprised by it either way.
Nothing in the political process gives me any hope. Nothing. Not even Ted Cruz because he still has faith in the political system. Even when he gets bounced out of the primary by the GOPe, he'll still be as optimistic as ever about democracy. He just doesn't get it. The homosexuals will successfully kill the bill in Indiana, and the bill in Arkansas will probably die today. A similar bill died in Kansas. What did these bills do? They upheld a Christian's right to conscious. Nobody was hurt by the bills. They were lied about by one side, and not defended by the other. Ted Cruz sees this as an environment in which our liberty can be restored?
We can see all of this. We're not corrupted by it. We're not sitting against the wall of Plato's allegorical cave deciphering forms and shadows. We see things as they are. We known something radical has to happen to make the country something we'd like to leave our kids with.
What are we going to do? What will organize us?

I don’t know, but it will likely take both a top down and a bottom up effort.
There’s a very strong anti-government or fear of government component within our younger generations.
This needs to be exploited.
Rand Paul is the only one that is actively on this issue and I think that Cruz can borrow certain aspects that will resonate among the middle.
I’m perfectly happy to have Paul getting the zombies to begin to think for themselves while Cruz puts the final nail in them.
Either way it won’t make much of a difference.
Objectively, there is virtually nothing that can be done.
We can only hope to stall their progress.
But stall their progress to what end?

The Almighty used good, decent men to fight to form this nation. Thousands spilt their blood to be free from a tyrannical king.
Throughout all history, time and again, God set in motion the feet of righteous armies to defeat evil.
Are we too weak in this age? Are we too intimidated to lawfully gather together?
Second, gays are not the enemy. They are people with a mental defect who are trying to emulate the rest of us with their marriages and adoptions because they want to be just like you.
Third, it is not our place to judge them. Leave that up to God. Bake them a damn cake if they want one. You're not supporting the gay lifestyle, you're supporting the right to celebrate an event with a cake.
In their way they are trying to carry on the traditions of family that we all believe in and that is the most important thing.
Remember the words of Adm. James Stockdale on his years checked-in at the Hanoi Hilton:
“This is a very important lesson. You must never confuse faith that you will prevail in the end—which you can never afford to lose—with the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.”
There will always be those who refuse to hear. They are for God to judge. Work to strengthen your faith and your disturbance will subside. From there, if you choose, you will be able to proceed with political activism with a better spirit. A boxer that gets angry in the ring is more easily subdued by his opponent.

You can take some comfort in the fact that it has been over for a good long while. America was a corpse in 2008, it’s simply a matter that the corpse continues to stink more every day. Think of what’s happening in the world as a sci-fi or horror movie. ‘Idiocracy’ is the best we can hope for. Freedom and liberty were never destined to be the future for homo sapiens. No matter how bad things get in your life, they will be worse for generations to come. Maybe in 1,000 years the world will emerge from darkness. Maybe.
