"Everybody does it" is not as visceral as a list showing exactly who "everybody" includes. . . and that is not even an inclusive list. . . it is just the top 52 out of over 500 major CE customers or so. You just want to make it "everybody does it" so that it looks less. The fact is that it IS every major and minor company in the world goes to China for its assembly work. . . but Apple and Lenovo have brought some of their manufacturing work to the USA.
Had I just claimed that "everybody does it," you and everyone else can easily dismiss it, ignore it, or skip over it. This is not easy to dismiss, ignore, or skip. Sorry if you "low information" before constructing your ignorant opinions. You've been shown the facts before and prefer to continue to repeat the falsehoods.

I'm guessing Tim Cook has no idea that the same law Indiana passed and signed is in place in 18 other dates. Further, Obama as a State Senator here in the People's Republic of Illinois VOTED YES on the exact same law here.
Then again, Bill Clinton signed the Federal version of the same law in 1993.
So here's the deal: If Tim Cook were actually serious, he's stop selling Apple products in the U.S. period.
Why? Because the 1993 Federal Religious Freedom Act prohibits "substantially burdening" individuals' exercise of religion unless it is for a "compelling Government interest" and in doing so is the least restrictive means possible.
If Tim Cook were serious in any way of fighting the law of the land, he'd stop selling Apple products in the U.S. To do anything less makes him a blow-hard windbag hypocrite.
As for me, my iPad 2 Mini just hit the junk pile and I'll be purchasing a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 tomorrow to go along with the Samsung Galaxy 5 I purchased back in October. Didn't like the iPhone vs. the Samsung Galaxy back then, and I'm really starting to hate looking at my iPad knowing I'm putting money into a company's products, when that company is working directly against my personal interests and religious convictions.
Tim Cook and Apple can kiss my ass.
My comments were not directed at you in any way.
Just not supporting a company that works against my interests, especially when that company has taken as public a stance as Cook has by spitting in the faces of many of Apple's customers.
I'll be interested to see who's on top of the SmartPhone/Phablet/Tablet space a year from now. Betting it WILL NOT BE Apple.
Companies that take on controversial public stances always end up losing big chunks of their customer base.
If I were an Apple Stock holder (I am not..) I'd be dumping my stock tomorrow.

Chik Fil A never had a company policy that discriminated against gays, looks like Apple does have an actual company policy to discriminate against Christians.

No. I have heard DennisW claim he would never own an Apple product. . . and state that he doesn't own any Apple products. . . yet here he is claiming that he is going to smash his latest iPad. That smacks of a lie considering his previous statements. Either they were lies, or this is a lie. It cannot be both. . . and we've caught him in multiple serial lies before. Lie to me once, everything he says from then on is suspect of being another lie.
Again, like every other member of the Apple-hate mongering brigade you conflate any specific statement into a general one and spread it into something it isn't.
