See post #60 for the probable reason he put it down where he did.
All speculative based on what is already credible out there, of course.
Apparently he got certified as a pilot in the U.S.A. by the FAA. I think he did training in Arizona and another state. Simple matter to hop on planes and do some sight-seeing in the U.S.A. while he was here. Probably got discounts from the airlines. Easy hop from Arizona to SF in California.
I wonder what will be more expensive for the airlines: the lawsuits from not allowing Muslim pilots to fly at their airlines, or the lawsuits when Muslim pilots go all Jihad with a plane full of infidels ...
Well, here we have another example of “workplace violence!”

I lurk on CNN and they have made no mention, and usually, they thrive on disaster stories like this, and yesterday broke the story before Fox about the pilot banging on the door and getting no response that was heard on the black box.
No it isn't...friggin Nazis!
(You've been around a long time, sitetest. I know you've had time to give this some serious thought.)
Concise. I agree.

“...THE QUESTION REMAINS:
WHY CHOOSE SNOW TARGET OVER A CITY TARGET..?”

Probably because he was fearful that the pilot rapidly assisted by a number of large passengers and equipment would succeed in BREAKING THRU the locked door and overpowering him. The mountain may well have been “Plan B” (i.e., anywhere on the ground).
“Also, lots of additional cost to the airline who now has to pay a third person to be on the flight to allow for potty breaks?”
Here the “third person” can be a flight attendant. Maybe now it should be an armed flight attendant. “Here Suzie hold my 9mm on old Achmed here while I go take a leak! If he tries anything, put two in him and I’ll be back in a jiffy!” I guess the only thing that might be better is that the flight attendant will have to have a type rating in that particular A/C. Ah, those “friendly skies.”
I got that feeling too. And was his picture in San Francisco as opposed to Phoenix, where he attending pilot training, was a hint too.
Your guess is a good one.
Yes, tried to keep him away from nuclear reactors, maybe.
THis is what I thought...the banging on the door...act fast
How about a moratorium on moslems flying period. They don't need to go anywhere except back to their hellholes. Otherwise, let them friggin walk.
That was my thought too.
Great source. Thanks for linking. BTTT!
Doesn’t make sense though. I true convert would want to go out with a big bang while taking out infidels along with an Islamic message and testament.
A good story writer could fashion a tail of a forlorn lover and loner. Converted to Islam, only to find that’s not his answer to happiness either. So he opts for suicide and the leap of faith he’ll get 72 virgins.
Maybe there is a video of him declaring Jihad that they found in his room. They’re still not saying and I don’t think it’s officially confirmed that he is indeed a muslim convert.
You're right, of course.
However, in this case, common sense leans heavily toward these stories being true.
Occam's razor and all that.
Did the Boston Bombers have an Islamic message? I don’t recall them making a video or releasing anything other than that bomb. Correct me if i’m wrong I just dont remember it.
Bogus, completely without substance.
I’m not saying there’s no way he was, just that these reports are just people posting crap on the internet, no credibility nor substantiation to any of it at all.
