You're right, of course.

However, in this case, common sense leans heavily toward these stories being true.

Occam's razor and all that.

I don’t know the truth either and while I believe it might be true, the source, German PI-news is an anti Islamic blog, not a German news entity. I’ll hold judgement for a bit
