There are 18-wheelers with brake problems, hungry bears just stumbling out of hibernation, and lawnmowers that suddenly shift into reverse. And then there's the unparalleled danger of Double Stuff Oreos. Thank goodness this teacher requires parents to sign off on cookie consumption—if they dare.

Hey, in Denver, school “chilluns” were allowed to participate in a “Hands up, Don’t Shoot” farce, resulting in a policeman being seriously injured by a “person of a different color” driving over him.
A number of the “chillums” cheered.
No parental consent was sought by the esteemed “educators”.
Face it, folks, our public schools are a joke. I can think of no lower form of life than a public school principal or superintendent.

Can’t say I blame Mrs. Porter, the teacher, for sending out these warning notes, considering how parents tend to overreact these days. However, even a second grader knows how to forge Mom’s signature. They will be motivated by the thought of everybody in class happily eating OREOS but them.
“This cannot be allowed to happen! I’m not going to be the only after the demonstration stuck with eating a plain old rice cake. NO!! I’ll text Granny before that happens.”, says the kid to themself.

I don't know if anyone is truly appreciating the Oreo threat. Charles Manson ate Oreos. So did Jeffrey Dahmer (with a side of liver). So did Ted Bundy. And what, I ask you, did all these people have in common? SERIAL MURDER, THAT'S WHAT!
