I agree with you. The problem is that mothers must work and unlike the days when I was a lass, families live miles apart or they are dysfunctional. In my day my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all lived in the same neighborhood, so any of them could babysit if necessary. If worse came to worse, we also had neighbors with children around my age whom my parents knew and trusted. Today I wouldn’t trust my neighbors.

As a nurse, we offer apple juice to patient’s post operatively. I find straight juice is too sweet and frequently results in nausea, if not “tossing the cookies”. I mix it with water, or club soda and am asked frequently, where do you get this juice, its so good. I joke that I make it myself.
Maybe you could put the tykes to some type of useful endeavor.

What if they look younger than 2, do they have to show ID?
