You do make a claim, and you were wrong, this is what your source actually says about Cruz and a “pathway to citizenship” that you claim he supports.

“”Sen. Ted Cruz introduced an amendment to the current immigration bill back in May that would have removed the path to citizenship from the bill completely.””

I was just in miami

My family doesn’t know my past life really

They were amazed how easily i transit Latino culture

My portañol ran off my tongue like guarapo

I do love Carib and South American culture

And most of the folks

But the dysfunction and race victimhood I can do without

It’s just overwhelming now

Most of the housekeepers are Spanish

I doubt that any of them are Europeans (Spanish).

Are you blind? I'll re-post in large font....

- Ted Cruz: Sen. Ted Cruz also supports temporary legalization status in the immigration bill

Now. Did I say this? Did I say I agree with this? This is NOT my claim.

What have a presented falsely? That’s what you keep insinuating without actually being able to point to anything.

Are you suggesting I should go along with the canard that giving illegals legalization as long as they go home for a visit with their family first is something other than amnesty?

And I’m not going along with any candidate’s attempt to mislead and sugar-coat a country-killing position on illegal immigration—though yes, he’s the best we’ve got right now.

Temporary legal status, to get a grip on them.

You claimed that he supported a “path to citizenship”.

“1) as we’ve seen, with out current system there’s no distinguishing legalized non-citizen votes at the voting booth...”

I think you don’t understand how voters are qualified to vote. Not just anyone can show up to vote on election day. There is a voter list for that precinct at every polling place. If the person’s name is not on the list, that person cannot vote. If he/she demands to vote, they vote a “Provisional” ballot which is examined by the Early Voting Ballot Board the day after the election, and the ballot would be thrown out then.

I was the judge of our Early Voting Ballot Board for ten years, and we never approved any Provisional Ballot as they weren’t on that precinct’s voter list OR they voted in the wrong precinct (both of those situations would require voting a Provisional Ballot).

In Texas, no voter is approved to be on the voter list UNTIL the name is sent to the Texas Secretary of State, Elections division, to be approved or not as a legal citizen. A report is sent to the county officer responsible for the voter list, and only then is the voter put on the list if the state elections division reports that voter is a legal citizen.

I’m pointing out that you are a concern troll.

You are spamming threads with attacks against Cruz, and then in the last sentence or so, saying how he is actually the very the best on the immigration issue.

For example “”(All that said, Cruz still seems to me the best candidate headed into the race.)”” over, and over, and over.

True, they are from Mexico.

Your points here seem to be the opposite of your posting on “Carnival Barker” thread where your comment out of the box is “They’re coming out of the woodwork”. Why would what King said about him matter?

Doing the early trashing of potential candidates to save the democrats the trouble.

I don’t think Cruz is anywhere near what the other potential candidates have supported and I don’t think Walker is too close to them either.

If you don’t know whom to trust, why bother? Just find a cave and sit it out; taking whatever comes. A lot of so-called conservatives followed the same trash em early path in 2012 and we ended up with the GOPe my-turner. How well did that turn out?

Big whoop—I understand it clearly. You can’t sign up for government benefits, which a majority of illegals get currently, without being strong-armed to register to vote.

Then, at the voting booth, even if it is a state that requires photo id, “legalized” illegals are increasingly good to go.

There’s a reason that 6% of illegals have already been found to have voted—illegally, of course.

The Spanish ads annoy the hell out of me.

I don’t recall Italian ads when the Italians poured in.

You’ve actually attacked what I posted to one thread on three threads now, if I’ve counted correctly. I have then gone in and restated my views on each thread.

On Walker threads I have regularly pointed out Walker’s worse position on illegal and future immigration, and said at each opportunity that because of his position I do not want Walker anywhere near the presidency or national office.

I have stated my views on Cruz accurately—and there’s no reason for me not to do so.

There is reason for you not to accuse me of misrepresenting his views, when I’ve done nothing of the sort.

Your link goes to the immigration bill that was in committee in the Senate. He was offering an amendment that did this:

“Sen. Ted Cruz introduced an amendment to the current immigration bill back in May that would have removed the path to citizenship from the bill completely.”

He is not for illegals getting citizenship. His amendment prevented them for becoming citizens.

They would be as any other person not being a citizen, meaning they could only become citizens if they went through the naturalization process as any person must do to become a citizen of the US.

I might worry about how you perceive my points more if you actually knew my points from other posters. FWIW, I didn’t post “They’re coming out of the woodwork”.

Get a clue.

You are lying, there is this thread, and I pinged you to a second thread where another anti-Cruz poster is quoting you and I had to ping you to respond to her, you then kept pestering me to respond to you about your attacks on Cruz, and who is actually spamming threads with your anti-Cruz attack.

Your concern troll efforts have won you a fan among the anti-Cruz people and chewed up a lot of this thread, that should have been positive about Cruz and his ad.

My guess would be that there were Italian language ads in the locales that needed it, but why would someone not try for the Hispanic vote today?

You’re right, it looks like there are only the two threads: this one, where I had posted originally, and the other one, where you pinged me, but stated that I was “wrong”.

So I posted here originally and have been defending myself against false accusations from you on the two threads since.

Cruz ought to come clean on his pro-amnesty position, reverse it, and vow to stick with fighting amnesty if he wins office. And/or someone else who is anti-amnesty should enter the race.

I had to ping you because your fellow anti-Cruz poster is using your quoted post from this thread, I could hardly respond to her use of it without pinging you.

Since you worked so hard to hijack this thread, you should just come clean as a concern troll, hopefully you won’t troll all of the Cruz threads.
