I’m with Michelle Malkin. Walker is problematic. He has not been vetted. I am not high on the guy at all. He feels like another GOPe candidate to me.
FR is trying to coronate him. Two months ago Freepers were all about Ted Cruz. Now its like he does not exist.
Lets face it Walker is about as charismatic as a flea circus.
As far as vetting goes... by all means, go forth with that, but I'd think that if every liberal slimegroup in the country couldn't dig up anything during his run of elections, he's probably pretty safe.
As far as positions go, I'm not a purist. I'm not even concerned that someone "evolves" on their positions. Don't we all, when we're presented with new evidence and come to see we were mistaken?
I've never been a huge fan of Cruz, so while many may have been or are currently enamored, that's not universal. Of course, if he gets the nomination, I'll vote for him.
How funny....Cruz is second to Walker in exposure and Cruz supporters always come to the Walker thread and try to take over. If you feel that Cruz isn’t getting enough attention then post some Cruz articles. You can dictate what Cruz articles are posted here. Walker is just has more results so naturally he has more articles written by him. Walker has been in Government a lot longer then Cruz who is in his second year of a first term.
Oh come on. Why does support for a candidate has to degenerate into "trolling" for him or being a "bot?"
Walker has been vetted 3 times in four years by National Teachers Union and Afl-Cio.
Hi Georgia,
Apparently you haven’t been following Walker much: or, possibly, you have another candidate you prefer...?
He stood toe-to-toe with the unions and won. He’s not an elitist; and he looks like he knows how to avoid gotcha questions (”How do you feel about evolution?” at an economic summit.)
Freepers always do this
Primaries give posters a justifiable reason to act natural
It’s not pretty
Once the wolf packs get traction you can’t criticize shite
Even if she or he never runs
It’s crazy
The Republican Party doesn’t merit such devotion
Bump. He'll need to be fleshed out on complicated subjects like "immigration" (complicated mostly by the Chamber, as has been pointed out), and flushed out on any waffles or squid-ink clouds.
The good news is, I haven't seen any squid ink yet. But Michelle's right, there is more work to be done and more Chamber agency and contrivance, if it's there, to be flushed, pounded, and sanded out.
