The US National Intelligence has removed Iran and the Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, from its list of "terrorist threats."
US Director of National Intelligence James Clapper scrapped Iran and Hezbollah from the list in an annual report recently delivered to the US Senate, citing their efforts in fighting terrorists, including the ISIL Takfiri group, Press TV reported.
The unclassified version of the report titled Worldwide Threat Assessment of the US Intelligence Communities, which was released on February 26, 2015, noted Irans efforts to battle extremists, including those of the ISIL terrorist group, who were perceived to constitute the greatest terrorist threat to American interests worldwide.
Highlighting Irans regional role, the report pointed to the Islamic Republics intentions to dampen sectarianism, build responsive partners, and deescalate tensions with Saudi Arabia.
Iran has overarching strategic goals of enhancing its security, prestige, and regional influence [that] have led it to pursue capabilities to meet its civilian goals, the report said.
The report also said that Hezbollah is countering ISIL Takfiri terrorists in Syria and Iraq.
The ISIL Takfiri terrorists have taken control of swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria since last year.
Iran has repeatedly stressed that it will not interfere militarily in Iraq and Syria, but the Islamic Republic continues to provide support to both countries against ISIL in the form of defense consultation and humanitarian aid.
As for my emotional response...for once I wish I had kept the gif of the guy banging his head on the keyboard till it's covered in blood. Instead, I will post a picture I took a couple of years ago at the 1/8 Beirut Memorial.
Since when is treason equal to “intelligence”.
I was with 1/8 in ‘84. I was also there for the dedication of this memorial. Hezbollah has never received payback. In ‘85 I was with 2/8 in the Med and we were gearing up to land in Beirut but it was cancelled. You could cut the rage with a knife it was so thick. We all were itching to go.
My son was with the 1/8 in Afghanistan. He had signed his release papers a few days before the first daesh beheading and wanted to go to Iraq. His new wife’s grandfather is a survivor of Beirut. He wasn’t in the barracks at the time but he suffered greatly till he passed. I still hold a grudge against reagan for not responding but this, this is actually an affirmation of the act that took our sons that day. Their blood is now on the administration’s hands.

Everything is political and pro muslim with King Obozo calling the shots.
When Iran nukes Israel Obama will be providing support.
The lies never stop coming.
Don’t forget the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing...that was Iran’s doing.
arrgggh
Iran funded the Saudi Hezbollah in that attack.
killed 19 US personnel, wounded hundreds more and killed a bunch of Saudi citizens in a nearby park.
Quite a few of the men I was with were there when the barracks was bombed. They seemed to have some guilt that they survived while others didn’t. Reagan not unleashing us on Hezbollah is my one beef I had with him. We could have teamed up with the Israelis and wiped Hezbollah out.
An awesome book about Beirut is “The Root” which I’ve read several times. It tells the story from the Marine on the ground. Very powerful book.
BULLSHIT!!! This all in prep for Obama to give Iran his “UN treaty” on nukes. That’s just the beginning. Wait another six months and “intel” will release all the others with Obama’s blessings.
Iran sheltered at least two of the leaders of that attack and mat still be protecting them today.
Sandy Berger, Clinton had no interest in pursuing this investigation since it led to Iran:

insane
Is anyone actually surprised by this?
I am surprised...it’s hard to imagine how deep we’ve sunk and how quickly.
