Likely true, I think in all “57” states unemployment is a state function. There have also been times when the fedgov “supplements” the funding.

Is growing apples still allowed?

Just increase the prices! I’m sure those who voted for increasing the minimum wage would pay $35 for a chicken sandwich!!

The solution, of course, is to give them the $15, but take away their tips. Instead, raise the prices so that the bill to the customers comes out the same.

I don’t know where you got the word “AUTOMAGICALLY” from but like it or not I’m going to steal it.
Does that one word perfectly explain our Liberal LEFT!!
They should dispose of their invisible MAGIC WANDS so the peons can see how they do it.

So, if you were making 3.50/hr plus tips you didn’t report, but you get laid off at $15/hr, your unemployment check is going to be much bigger now, yes? I wonder if the socialists thought that far ahead.

Hey, it's a 'living' wage.

Implement a real life 10-289 and all problems solved - viola (in the liberal mind).

I would probably go to McDonalds again with Motoman running things.

Paragraphs are your Friend. Slow day at the editing desk? Hassling a guy who maybe could have split it into 2 paragraphs instead of 1? There are many posts here where that comment might be called for, but not this one. I managed to slog through all 4 or 5 sentences of his post, and was interested in the substance of what he had to say.

It’s the same idiots who got their panties in a wad over paper bags and insisted on plastic bags. Now, plastic bags are overflowing the landfills so you either bring your own nasty germy “green” bag or you pay extra for plastic or paper bags. Life used to be so much easier.

All I know is, if theyre now getting $15/hr., theres no reason to leave tips anymore. Right?
Just remember, if you do this, PAY IN CASH.
Otherwise you'll have your credit card receipt (the Merchant Copy) posted on FaceBook, Twitter, etc.

Its evident that those Demoncrats dont have a clue about economics. They never think of the consequences of their feel good policies. Neither do they have a clue how a business is run and operated. Please consider the possibility that they know the exact consequences of their actions, and are now achieving the fully intended - but unelaborated upon - results.

So shocked....I thought the small business owners were all rich and a few bucks wouldn’t hurt their bottom line or is it that they don’t want to lose their million dollar a year paycheck to give some to their employees?

How many Detroits need to pop up before they get the message?
Republicans got blamed for Detroit too.....Can you believe that? I don’t know how that happened. Just because we have the Governorship, it gave liberals the chance to blame the Republicans.....I was stunned at their gall.

In Venezuela they made it illegal to fire people, foreign companies that closed.factories, such as InBev, are still paying workers I wonder how many new businesses they have seen formed since that law went into effect. Man, I sure hope the US Congress doesn't know about that plan.
