Where is the server and what is the status of it? Why in the world isn't the server being tracked down and preserved? I haven't seen any mentions of this in all of the news accounts, which I find amazing.
Have I missed something??

It’s gone forever and even if people can look through it, the important emails she doesn’t want anyone to see are gone as in erased. People will cry foul but their team believes in waiting it out and over time it will go away in the drive by news cycle. She’ll come out and make a statement about moving on and then go hiding into her bunker until an another time

What will amuse me is this: if they paid for an offsite backup service and either forgot or cannot erase the backups (because they are stored by someone else).
She will refuse to cooperate as she always does and it will be forgotten. She sees herself as above all the laws that her subjects must obey.
And with "special rights" provided by the all-powerful government for favored groups -- not individuals -- (e.g., homosexuals; "minorities" (except Asians); women (especially "minority" women (except Asians), etc., etc.), we are no longer afforded equal protection under the law.

There are several things which have been missed.
When you have a change-over of administrations....the bureau/department will lead the new folks in, provide orientation on communications (secure telephones, Blackberry use, and classifications on email).
Hillary was introduced to the normal game. She had to have a secret account, a TS account, and a regular email account. Typically, you get a laptop and a Blackberry handed to you. To connect via the laptop to the gov’t server....you need the ID card (CAC) to insert into it and thus connect.
No matter what anyone hints at....Hillary had a secret and TS account, and read email off those systems in the comfort of her office. What she got on the unclass side? I would imagine that she didn’t want to use the Blackberry or laptop situation, so she had the email sent to the regular address, and rerouted to this clinton.com server....which she could read everything off her IPhone set-up.
If you bring in the administrative staff...I think they will all admit that they knew she had this non-gov’t account and it was her orders by which they sent everything onto her and this Clinton.com account.
Reasons? I think she shared everything out...to foundation heads or donors to the foundation. It was her gimmick for funds and support. By posting to Clinton.com, she had full control and no one within the gov’t would ever see what she was sharing.
Ethically, I’d say she’s pretty stupid and it’s the kind of thing that you’d fire folks for doing. Now? She’s gone and I don’t see any court action unless classified info got shifted around, or someone finds other words on the dead Libyan ambassador via her emails.
She has it. She just forgot where she left it. It’ll turn up one of these days, for sure.
Based on the Clintons past actions I'm sure we, the taxpayers, are footing the bill for the operation and maintenance of the server. Heck, we have probably been paying rent on the space it occupies within their mansion as well as the electric bill for it and its physical security in addition to the Secret Service/State Department detail to protect the former FLOTUS/Secretary of State.

I hadn’t thought of that but it makes sense.
