Vox Writer: Ditch U.S. Constitution, Replace With Parliamentary System
NewsBusters ^ | March 3, 2015 | P.J. Gladnick

Intrepid boy reporter Dylan Matthews at General Electric (also Comcast) Vox got hilariously spanked in public recently when he proposed that the U.S. Senate be abolished because it was "anti-democratic." Matthews somehow forgot (or never learned) that we have a federal system so such an abolition would be impossible under our system of government. Therefore, young Dylan found another outlet for his pubescent enthusiasms. Why, if we can't abolish the Senate under the current system then BINGO! Ditch the despised constitution and replace it with a parliamentary system.

To get a proper fix on Dylan's latest crusade, let us take a trip down memory lane to early January when young Dylan had the U.S. Senate in his sights:

"I don't think..." The one statement the Boy Reporter made that I agree with.

Ah the good old parliamentary system. Where a 3rd party leader can win just enough seats to get his foot in the door and wheel and deal his way to full Fuhrer in less than a year.

Two more years with Obama and we won’t have to ditch the Constitution, it will be gone. As for replacing it with a Parliamentary System, I think Obama plans on bypassing that step and go right to dictatorship (he is almost there already).

The Founding States made the Constitution amendable, so it’s a matter of amending the Constitution to “repeal” the Senate.

But the real problem is that Mr. Matthews probably doesn’t understand that the purpose of the Constitution is to limit (cripple) the powers of the federal government.

Mr. Matthews essentially needs to work with his state lawmakers to turn his state into the utopia that he envisions.

No, and I won’t even read his nonsense.

This is the kinda nut that could go off in a crowded theater or school.

Well, actually, we apparently have a de facto elected dictatorship. Congress refuses to do its duty with respect to impeaching him or defunding his unconstitutional acts. If anything, they ENABLE him.
He laughs at their incompetence. So, why do we need this expensive, useless collection of senile sycophants? The budget could use the money we pay for their salaries, their benefits, their staffs and their pension, for which they do - NOTHING.
