The Founding States made the Constitution amendable, so it’s a matter of amending the Constitution to “repeal” the Senate.

But the real problem is that Mr. Matthews probably doesn’t understand that the purpose of the Constitution is to limit (cripple) the powers of the federal government.

Mr. Matthews essentially needs to work with his state lawmakers to turn his state into the utopia that he envisions.

The Founding States made the Constitution amendable, so it’s a matter of amending the Constitution to “repeal” the Senate.


That’s the one part of the Constitution that cannot changed through the amendment process. See Article V.
