Michelle Obama Takes Credit for Food ‘Culture Change’

WASHINGTON (AP) — Michelle Obama said Thursday that the U.S. has undergone a “culture change” in the five years since she started raising awareness about childhood obesity, but as she celebrated achievements on multiple fronts the first lady also warned that the progress is “incredibly fragile.”

That’s because special interests “whose first priority is not our kids’ health” are “waiting for us to get complacent or bored and move on to the next trendy issue,” Mrs. Obama said at an annual health summit. She cited the fight over a recent child nutrition law as an example.

The "food culture change" has been rejecting everything the left has tried to tell us about grains and starches despite the fact that they are causing more obesity for Americans that several fat steaks each week. It's been the knowledge that the "Food Pyramid" is a lie and that fat is good to eat and actually lowers cholesterol when you eliminate exposure to sugars and starches.

Really, the government has been lying about nutrition for years. Why would we believe anything they have to say about it?

She is 100% right. Millions and millions of kids got taught a lesson in what liberalism, statism and Central planning by Harvard elites looks like.

They know what is better for you more than you do. Go along with the social engineering.
