Obama says he won’t be deterred by ‘one federal judge’ on immigration
The Washington Times ^ | February 25, 2015 | Ben Wolfgang

A confident President Obama said Wednesday he won’t be stopped by “one federal judge,” telling a Miami crowd he’ll move ahead with his controversial executive action on immigration and vowing his administration will become even more aggressive in the weeks and months to come.

At a town hall meeting hosted by Telemundo and MSNBC, the president also threatened to veto GOP-backed legislation that would undo his immigration action. That measure is expected to come up for a vote later this week.

Mr. Obama took executive steps last year to halt deportations for millions of illegal immigrants, but a federal judge last week blocked the amnesty program, ruling that the president overstepped his authority....

Bringing in the highly trained “brainiacs” is exactly the right kind of immigration to have—if we’re going to have any immigration at all. They are net additions to our economy and tax coffers—as opposed to the 10s of millions of low-skill Latin immigrants we’ve been informally welcoming instead. Countries like Canada and Australia already figured this out.

A judge rules Obama’s way: “Well, that settles it.”

A judge rules against Obama: “Hey, it’s only one judge in some flyover state.”

That is brilliant. To this day they are saying that Obamacare is settled law because one judge - Roberts - ruled it so.

Obama’s problem here is that many, if not most of the underlings within Homeland Security and other agencies don’t like not deporting certain illegals, and they’re not on board with providing them legal job status.

At this point in time, with the court injunction still in place, any agent of the Federal government who signs up an illegal for legal job status, IS GUILTY OF A CRIME.

The judge also ruled that the states have standing in the matter, so the enforcement mechanism resides within the states that were party to the suit. I believe I’m right on this, and if so, governors should fire a shot over the bow by declaring openly that they will enforce the law.

If a few minions are arrested, then things could start turning our way. Our focus needs to move away from how can we stop Obama, to how can we stop the actions by chilling the bureacracy attempting to carry out Obama’s edicts, IMHO.

That happened in a book I read. It’s called Term Limits. A former Special Ops group started taking out prominent members of Congress and sent a letter demanding that the Constitution be followed.

I highly recommend it. The book that is....

Contempt? Only way to stop this POS dictator is to have the court send bailiffs into the whitehut and remove him and toss him into prison. They can start an impeachment at that time while he sits incommunicado with no pen and phone at hand.

for starters Obama can’t himself change the immigration laws.

The Constitution is a dead letter. Obama is Dictator. He can and will do as he pleases. Congress no longer exists except to occasionally pretend to oppose him for show.

What the US needs is a nation-wide, organized and armed militia that only answers to the American people, that will deport illegal aliens. I would suggest a few hundred thousand would be a good start.

The truth is they’re not deporting them anyway. What Obama wants is congress to write a bill granting amnesty so the next president can’t change his EO. In the mean time he’ll give them the right to vote by EO and there won’t be a republican president....ever.

I hear you about the WWII vets. But I’ve always been disappointed when I asked a WWII vet who they supported for president. Everyone of them said “Obama”.

I’d like to see a study showing what percentage of WWII vets vote democrat. I got a feeling it’s pretty lop sided. jmo as of now.

The other day a Houston cop confronted a guy with a rifle. It’s legal to openly carry a long gun in public in Texas. The cop, on video, said “Don’t give me that constitutional bullshit.” The local cops don’t believe in it. The democrats don’t be in it. And the military doesn’t believe in it. The constitution is dead until the people stand up. And that would take backing from the military. It won’t happen.

Younger veterans skew heavily Republican. Middle-aged and elderly move Democrat or neutral.

One study:
