A confident President Obama said Wednesday he won’t be stopped by “one federal judge,” telling a Miami crowd he’ll move ahead with his controversial executive action on immigration and vowing his administration will become even more aggressive in the weeks and months to come.
At a town hall meeting hosted by Telemundo and MSNBC, the president also threatened to veto GOP-backed legislation that would undo his immigration action. That measure is expected to come up for a vote later this week.
Mr. Obama took executive steps last year to halt deportations for millions of illegal immigrants, but a federal judge last week blocked the amnesty program, ruling that the president overstepped his authority....

Green cards for spouses — that’s the latest quiet Obama Administration move to please and appease the high-tech companies in Silicon Valley and elsewhere who constantly clamor for more H1-B visas to bring in cheap, skilled foreign labor.
The ploy sounds extremely humanitarian, but might really be little more than an end run around the current limit of 85,000 visas granted to immigrants whose skills are allegedly not matched by any talent available in America, including about 20,000 slots for people with advanced degrees earned at American universities.
Without consulting Congress and with little notice other than a routine press release, Obama and his aides may essentially now be doubling that 85,000 number. As of now, spouses of H1-B visa holders being sponsored for a green card by their employers will be allowed to work in this country.
Since the great bulk of H1-Bs who perform adequately and show up regularly for work receive such sponsorship in the interest of maintaining a stable work force, there will now be about 60,000 to 70,000 new foreign workers eligible to take jobs for which some U.S. engineering groups say there are plenty of trained, competent Americans.
I heard on the radio tonight an excerpt of some comment where obama was stumbling along about the immigration bill. I hope it comes up in print - but it was amazing. As best as I can recall he said:
“So they think that what I did with immigration is illegal. Then they should vote on it. And when I get it I’ll veto it.”

He has not concept of how our system of law works.
Are these American workers “white” “priveleged” and “male”?
No...just “cheap, skilled foreign labor”
as opposed to fairly paid, skilled, American workers who are not in the protected class because they may be white, privileged and male.
...in fact its the opposite...it’s Green Cards for spouses of the H1-B visa holders.
...and its the same illegal deal.....for starters Obama can’t himself change the immigration laws...Congress needs to do it.....and in any case changes need to be posted in the Federal Register for comment at least 60 days prior.

The thing that should horrify Americans is the trend line. Look at how degraded our freedom is, and how each successive president attacks freedom even worse than the one before. Imagine about three presidents out what we will be facing.
That is the one people imagine. Stopping Obama is the way to stop our future Stalin or Hitler.
BUT he will listen to a single judge who declares all things progressive dandy ignoring existing laws.
This man is dangerous. I fear for the future.
