The Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority were the catalysts for a series of terrorist attacks in the early 2000s in Israel that killed or wounded several Americans, a U.S. jury found Monday at a high-stakes civil trial.
In finding the Palestinian authorities liable in the attacks, jurors awarded the victims $218.5 million in damages for the bloodshed. The U.S. Anti-Terrorism Act could allow for that to be tripled.
The case in Manhattan and another in Brooklyn have been viewed as the most notable attempts by American victims of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to use U.S. courts to seek damages that could reach into the billions of dollars.

Good to see s judge make such a decision, but I don’t see how the victims can collect, unless Obama puts some pressure on the Palestinians. Which he certainly won’t do.

The only trouble with that judgement and award ... is that both Israel and the USA contributes aid to the Palestinian Authority. SO ... in essence ... Israel and the USA will end up paying this!

Actually, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has come over to Congress, before, and asked them to NOT CUT OFF FUNDS to the P.A. ... because if Congress did that, the IDF would be put into a dangerous situation ... having to take over the civil and police functions from the P.A.
You see ... Israel wants the P.A. to be doing that, so that Israel doesn’t have to needlessly put the IDF in harm’s way!
