I noticed under Bush, Russia gave us a 9/11 memorial as a gift, they gave us an overland route to supply the Afghanistan war via rain, and they gave us free use of a former USSR air force base north of Afghanistan. Free as in no lease terms, and didn’t ask for any rent.

What do we do, side with every Russian moslem movement, push Russia into celebrating homosexuality, and push the economic goals of the EU, and keep expanding NATO east.

Obama is a disaster. And Hillary Clinton is a huge part of this too.

Has he invaded the Ukraine? No. He has secured Crimea, which was always considered part of Russia due to Sevastopol, the only warm-water port.

In the old days we spoke of walking into another country and taking territory from them as "annexing". As in the germany "annexing" the sudetenland with similar justification (i.e. "after all, it's really more German than Czech").

I'm not buying the argument that because it's important to Russia and because they really, really want it, they can just take it.

A lot of "good will" was established during the Olympics. Many watched and enjoyed them as I did. Recall how many thought Sochi's proximity to Chechnya would lead to terrorist acts? Didn't happen. I gave Putin's team an A+ for that. We needed no more repeats of Munich.

Obama should have gone to Sochi/Moscow and did a serious sit down with Vlad. Easier to prevent war, than try to stop one. Now the ball is in John Kerry's court. God save us!
