Winter is keeping its icy grip on the Tri-State area as Arctic air continues to plunge the region into a deep freeze --SNIP-- The temperature at Newark Liberty International Airport was 1 degree Friday morning, beating a former record low of 5 degrees. The previous record was set in 1936. Trenton’s temperature fell to zero around 7:20 a.m. That beats the record low of 6 set in 1936. In sections of the state, wind chills reached 10 to 20 degrees

Yeah, I heard a blurb on the radio that Tucson hit 80 for the eleventh consecutive day.

I can't remember when we last got above freezing. I remember a stiff mid 20's breeze cleared a lot of the roads a couple of weeks ago.
