There was a ball some years ago. Skeletor & Arnold Schwarzenegger were still together then, and she had on a white, sparkly dress not much different in fabric than the one Palin wore to this shindig, but it was long. And it was cut down to about 3 inches above her belly button. It looked to me to be in very poor taste. Nobody said a word aout it.
If Shriver had worn, tough, a dress her daughter had worn on a previous occasion, she would’ve been lauded for her frugality and good sense, plus, she would’ve been praised for being able to fit.

These Palin adulation threads are getting smaller all the time. This time Palin really jumped the shark. Hobnobbing with the glitterati means she’s no longer serious about anything other than being popular.
When I saw Maureen Dowd’s byline I assumed that she would have her bitchy claws out. I searched the article and it seemed to me that MoDo was being quite mild - for her. It was as though she had taken valium, or even haldol.

The dress was maybe ok but the shoes with that dress were awful. Yes, she could have done better but it had nothing to do with “her age and station”.
As for the dress I thought she looked better in it than Bristol did when she wore it.

I think Sarah’s appearance on the SNL 40 was baiting the hook for a run. And if Zer0 can appear on SNL, so can Sarah. It is smart politics.
