The candidates with the endorsement of Sarah Palin won in 21 of 23 races in the 2014 elections.

Sarah Palin is already, in effect, a political party.
And a very active and successful one.
And she still lives in the heads of Liberals.
And she continues to be right on the issues in opposing big government and bad government and offering vision, plans and programs that will help make America both strong and safe.

Dowd desperately needs a boyfriend.

I think Sarah would be a fine candidate and she has said that she’s seriously thinking about it.

If she runs, she’d be the only Republican who campaigns in non-traditional venues and non-traditional ways, like Clinton and Obama did.

Win or lose, that’s good for the Republican party — or maybe the Freedom Party.

Continuing the ‘who is - - ?’

Who is the man with horned-rim glasses completely turned around and smiling broadly at Sarah, who is directly behind him?

Hilarious choice of dress, poking her finger in the eyes of the hoity toits by recycling Bristol’s gorgeous dress, as if to say, “Why buy new just for THIS?”

Sarah, always new, always fresh.

These Palin adulation threads are getting smaller all the time. This time Palin really jumped the shark. Hobnobbing with the glitterati means she’s no longer serious about anything other than being popular.

Palin is as strong an relevant as ever. It's FR that is becoming less important in the larger scheme of things, mainly because of the freaking morons that flock to Palin threads to crap on them.

Facebook has become the gathering point for real activism. You ask most Palin supporters and they have never heard of Free Republic. Sad to say but going by the low quality, grumbling posters lately, easy to understand. When I want real news, I look elsewhere.

Who is that?

That my FRiend is Catherine Zeta Jones.

AKA Mrs. Micheal Douglas.

AKA 2nd Mrs. Micheal Douglas.

The first Mrs. Micheal Douglas is the woman who wrote this article.

Elderly Justin Bieber.

I mean Maureen Dowd.

F.R. rule number 1. Any Thread that has Maureen Dowd mentioned at all MUST be accompanied by pics of Catherine Zeta Jones.

I do not know Catherine Zeta Jones politics, I am sure she is just as left as the rest of them. But she is........ undoubtedly more attractive than Dowdy, who Micheal Douglas Dumped for C.Z.J.

Sarah Palin’s speech on women’s leadership; listen and learn

A comment on the thread following the speech;

AT 56.45 Sarah made some big news in what she revealed. I have been selling the obvious for a long time now, that Sarah’s problems are coming from the RIGHT, not the LEFT. She revealed that her relationship with the GOP has never been the same since she confronted corruption by the Republican Party Chairman as far back as 2004. Then she stated that she would probably be in Alaska instead of Texas at the moment. That gets me to believe the ‘complaints’ that drove her from the Governorship, because they compromised her personal finances and would continue to harm her ability to act as Governor, came from the RIGHT side of the political aisle.

I always wondered why the GOP, having just witnessed her star power in the 2008 race didn’t protect their future thoroughbred, but instead seemed happy with the result of her resigning. Since that day and even up to this moment, pundits on FoxNews hold her resigning against her, instead of explaining to their audience the facts, as Sarah has stated, behind her resignation. Today I think we get a better understanding. It was very revealing.

I cringed when I saw Palin there the other night. 95 percent of that crowd loathes her and uses her as their punch line every chance they get.

SNL basically destroyed her with the Tina Fey character in 2008. And instead of Palin figuring out how to both ignore and rebut that ended up going on the show in 2008 and embracing and reinforcing the parody.

And now she decides to remind everyone of it again the other night. I just don’t think she has any self awareness of the fact SNL defined her badly. Either that or she doesn’t care. Neither is a great answer if you are a conservative.

Really, Maureen, I’m so sorry my candidate is younger and hotter than anyone who’s likely to be the Democrat nominee in 2016. Oh, yeah, and smarter.

What’s funny is I think given that I will confess I have actually wandered onto BDSM sites online ....by accident of course

The women are bare footed......what is a bondage heel?

Maureen Dowd envisions herself Charlotte Rampling in The Night Porter

Sarah needs a new Stylist.......I’m available...lol

I think Sarah’s appearance on the SNL 40 was baiting the hook for a run. And if Zer0 can appear on SNL, so can Sarah. It is smart politics.

Totally agree. Sarah said sometime in the past - don't have the quote, but something like you have to use modern media, TV, radio, social media and various interviews i.e. exposure if you're going to run these days. A sad fact of our celebrity based culture wars.

Witness Watters' World interviews. People really are low information voters and get their news from comedy central and the networks. Unless you're in the news somehow, these people never even hear of you, And They Vote. Of course, the argument can be made that they wouldn't vote for Palin anyway. We'll see. . . never underestimate the political savant from Wasilla. .
